Medium bodied with soft carbonation leading to a bitter a finish.

Amber with a loose white head; slightly musty, honeyed aroma with some dusty hops; much better in the mouth though, soft and smooth with some zesty citrus fruit; and then a strong burst of mouth-filling hops that are assertive, but not too bitter; leading to a woody finish.

Bottled. A golden beer with a ring of off-white bubbles. Good spicy and orangey hops throughout. Some sting in the mouth. Full bodied and pretty bitter. A heavily hopped Golden where the hops seem to be very British. Nice.

4th August 2011 GBBF. Cask. Clear gold beer, tidy pale cream coloured head. Light dry palate. Smooth. Decent refreshing citrus hops, slightly floral. Finish is somewhat overdry but this is a decent and refreshing beer.
