COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular.
Twyford Tipple is an easy drinking 3.7% ABV tawny coloured bitter which has a satisfying malty flavour with a citrus hop finish. Named after the adjacent parish of Twyford, we think that this tipple is deliciously satisfying despite its lower alcoholic strength. The citrus hops give a refreshing, thirst quenching finish.

Bottled. A hazy copper coloured beer with a rocky whitish head. Bitter oranges in the aroma and the mouth with grassy flavours too. A thin aroma. A bit yeasty. Some BCA issues here.

Pint on draught at the Square in Wokingham. Short lived head on a dark brown beer, nice colour. Tastes hopped, a touch nutty, and a bit mild-like, thats perhaps the citrus in it. Its actually pretty good. Citrus and hops aroma, smells alright. Dry and bitter.

Cask at Craft Beer Co. Middle copper colour, nice mix of hops and malt on palate with surprisingly long and bitter finish. A good session pint.

Cask at the Royal Oak, Twyford. A simple ordinary bitter, tawny brown in colour with a compact white head; malty aroma and flavour with a medium body; and a lightly hopped finish. Not bad, but not as good as the Brickyard Bitter.
