Honestly...vanilla float. Quite creamy, and easy to drink, with the sweet vanilla and coffee. Good.

Cask@Reading Beer Festival 2012. Quite much pitch black colour, with a small brown bubbly head. Aroma is roasted malts, some liquorice, quite nice vanilla along with mild ripe fruits. Flavour is quite much the same in a nice balance. Very pleasant and quite full-bodied as well.

Cask (gravity) @ The 17th Reading Beer and Cider Festival 2011, Reading, Berkshire England.

Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, vanilla, vanilla sugar, a bit artificial ! Flavor is light heavy moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, chocolate, dusty vanilla, vanilla sugar, artificial. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20110430]

Black pour. Slight tan head that lasts almost the whole drink. Might be because I keep swirling it though. Little bit of lacing. Huge vanilla nose followed by some hints of chocolate and coffee. Taste is the same. The vanilla gets a little overwhelming at times, but is nicely balanced. Not too shabby.

Cask (CWAF2012, Friday)
Very dark. Very vanilla, like a chocolate cake with vanilla sauce on. Easy to drink, not too heavy (and despite what I just said not oppressively sweet), it’s almost watery at times in the finish. Nice one.

Cask at the Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival. Opaque dark brown beer. Suddy dark tan head. Light palate, semi dry. Decent chocolate vanilla malt. Fairly sweet. A trace of orange hops provide an effort at balance but this is all about the chocolate vanilla, which is fine!

Pint on draught at the Crispin in Wokingham. Black with a short lived brown head. Very nice vanilla/chocolate/stout flavour. Roasted aftertaste. Its pretty good. The aroma is largely chocolate, quite mild.

Cask Conditioned Handpump Craft Beer Co London. A black beer with an off-white to beige coloured head. Full of vanilla in the nose, over and above anything else really although I’m a big fan of vanilla so that’s OK by me. Beautifully balanced in the mouth with the vanilla working with the roasty dark malts. Not over roasty, just a really tasty stout.

UPDATED: NOV 12, 2011 Cask at Craft Beer. Jet black in colour, vanilla very apparent perhaps dominating a little on nose and palate. It was very nice for a change but half would have been enough - a little sweet for me.
