COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
After the blond and brown version, the brewery made a third type of beer: the 'Bloesem Bink' (Blossom Bink). It’s a beer of high fermentation, unfiltered and not pasteurized, with secundary fermentation in the bottle. We brew this seasonal beer every year in the same period (spring-summer). The ingredients are: five types of malt, one belgian type of hop, brewing liquor, yeast, honey from Sint-Truiden and syrup of pears from Vrolingen. It tastes fruity with a lightly sweet character and a long fruity and bitter aftertaste. The alcohol content of this springbeer is 7,1% vol.alc.

Very smooth and easygoing beer. Floral, sweet malt, honey, pear. Body is very creamy & smooth. Syrupy and a little sticky. I kinda like this beer ;)

(Bink Bloesem) Bottle 330 ml at home, served into a tulip glass, ABV 7.1% Deep red colour on the body, mostly clear. Small off-white head sitting on top, thin, with low retention, minimal lacing on the glass. Aroma has honey, light nuts, caramel, light floral, wine-like notes. Sweet taste, malty, with sugars, light honey, caramel, nuts, again wine like notes, slightly alcoholic. Medium body, biting carbonation. Good.

330ml Bottle - Copper with a slight haze. Raisins, honey and pear in the aroma. Fruity and moderately sweet taste with notes of pear, honey, raisins and caramel. Hides the alcohol quite well.

Deep cloudy brown with creamy tan head. Strong pear notes in the aroma, honey, floral notes, belgian yeast and a little acetone. The taste is caramel, honey, stewed pear, dark rye bread, also with a little unpleasant acetone which detracts from the dry finish. Light-med bodied but still sticky. Not bad but could really do without the chemical nail polish remover in yhe aroma and finish.

Cloudy brown amber with quickly fading head. Roasted malts, sweet syrup, some earth. Medium body but long finish. Creamy sweetness, on the verge of sticky

Very malt-sweet schwarz-like beer with a clearly high alcohol content. The bi-taste of fruit is not very successful in my book.

"scores for this all over the place. #2200 started out a fairly average yeasty belgian ale for me, but as it opened up, the honey came out more, and the pear became noticeable in the aroma and flavor, which is why i bought it. no aspect quite an 8, but high 7’s...a little pricey for a "good" beer thouhgh."

Amber coloured with a fast fading head. Noses of malty raisins, bread and fruity. Retronasal one gets the honey and pear sromas. Lightly lively with a light body. Shows fruity honey hue sweetness developping a sweet somewhat slick texture with some acidity. The finish ends with a light fruity yet hoppy snap with the fruit sweetness lingering.
