Commercial Description:
The ‘Bink blond’ was the first who came out of the barrels. It’s a beer of high fermentation, unfiltered and not pasteurized, with secundary fermentation in the bottle. This beer with a hoppy character is the perfect thirst-quencher. The ingredients are: two types of malt, two belgian types of hop, brewing liquor and yeast. Our ‘Bink blond’ is a fresh and lightly digestable beer with a hoppy flavour and a bitter aftertaste. The alcohol content of this ‘powerful’ beer is 5,5 % vol.alc.

Pours a cloudy coppery golden yellow color with a huge three finger foamy white head that quickly fades into a lasting ring. Minimal spots of lacing. Crisp golden fruit aroma with a surprising floral hop presence, especially for a Belgie. Hints of apple and pear as well as some light grape, raisin and subtle banana. Kind of earthy. Very carbonated up front that fizzles on the tongue for a while followed by a spicy/zesty crisp golden fruit presence. Subtle floral hops, again more prominent than in the average Belgian beer, with some sweet estery apple and pear. Excellent balance of fruit and floral hops and the alcohol is very well masked with only a slight bit of warmth in the finish.

Tap @ Brasserie420 A wonderful crisp clean simple and floreal aromatic nose. Intense. Nice white compact foam. Longlasting. Golden in color with slight pale copper shine. Simple 50% Pale 50% pils malt recepie, that really does the trick for this 5,5% beer. The bouquet of hops is perfectly composed for the malt profile. The body is just right, keeps it a great drinkable beer but with enough personality to bring you through the whole evening. I love this beer. Brewed and poured very well.

Bottle: Golden, floaties visible, small creamy foamy layer, visible carbonation; citrussy hops and orange-peel in the nose; solid dry (mainly bitter) flavour, light to medium bodied; dry and very long citrussy-hoppy finish, balanced by a smaller amount of pale malt. Fine, crisp and hoppy brew.......

Slightly cloudy orange body with short but lasting head. Pepper, spice and cloves in the aroma. Taste is not too full, spice again , candi sugar and a little grapefruit.

Bottle… Cloudy golden ale with orange highlights and a large, billowing, white head. Good, long-lasting, tight retention. The nose is fruity/nectary and delicate. A touch biscuity. Medium-bodied with laid-back carbonation. Well-balanced, but also pretty nondescript. Refreshing, though, like Perrier. Crisp, clean finish.

Le Bier Circus, Brussels, Belgium 13th Feb 2009, previously 20 Jan 2006 at same venue. Pale amber with white head of foam. Sharp, bitter, exquisitely herby/hoppy and extremely dry. and for me one of the best Belgian hop blonde beers I have drunk in or out of Belgium.

330ml Bottle - Hazy gold/amber with a white head. Fruity and ever so slightly musty aroma, with hints of hay, grapefruit and tea. Fresh and hoppy taste with grapefruit, tea and a dry finish.
