The ‘Bink blond’ was the first who came out of the barrels. It’s a beer of high fermentation, unfiltered and not pasteurized, with secundary fermentation in the bottle. This beer with a hoppy character is the perfect thirst-quencher. The ingredients are: two types of malt, two belgian types of hop, brewing liquor and yeast. Our ‘Bink blond’ is a fresh and lightly digestable beer with a hoppy flavour and a bitter aftertaste. The alcohol content of this ‘powerful’ beer is 5,5 % vol.alc.

A corny aroma (maybe some soy, or early hay) with highly recognizable starches in it. The taste is bitter, but there’s still some sweetness on the background, with his very own character. It seems to be an easy-drinking beer, but it’s worth it to drink it with care and respect for the taste of it!

"Mainly slight honey sweetness in the aroma with a little spice. Prickly feel, more spice than sweet in the flavor, ok but a little on the boring side. Maybe a little orange peel/citrus in there as well."

Hazy golden with a medium fading white head. Noses a bit musty, cellar aromas, yeast with a cereal and hop note. A brief soft fizz offers a light slick texture, medium body with musty, yeast, earthy hop flavours, bitter and yet some light sweetness and faint acidity. Finish is dry.

33cl Bottle: BBD Feb 2018. Shared with minutemat on a bus very late on 24th Aug 2014, just what we needed (not) after a long day at a tasting and just before we fell asleep. Slight haze to the light yellow pour, a white topping sat above the liquid, Mat got most of the sediment as I had the first half out the bottle. The aroma was yeasty and semi-sweet with a mini-citrus sourness in the background: the taste very similar with a sweet and sour blending of yeasty flavours. Nice balance with a hop bitter finish, easy to drink. A fitting end to a great day of tasting.

A surprise 330ml bottle shared with Blackhaddock on a train replacement bus, following the inaugural Midlands Bottle Share, Aug 14. I was perhaps a little tipsy by this point so my notes are a little brief. But this was a very pleasant blonde, a touch sweet with light yeast and bitter spice.

Draft at Churchkey, 7/12/14. Pours a hazy pale golden color with a thin frothy off-white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of pale buttery malts, yeast, peanut butter, mild spice. The taste is yeast, herbal hops, pale malt. Medium bodied.

A very nice dry, hoppy bitter beer with a surprisingly smoky finish - not unlike a rauchbier. Well worth seeking out.

Bottle at the Poechenellekelder. Very nice. Yeasty, floury, hoppy, fresh. Very easy drinking.
