Thick light brown foam that is 1 inch over the glass rim. The foam is so thick that you could eat it with a fork. The foam contains much bitterness and some hop taste. The liquid is as red as normal red wine. The aroma is small but complex with sour cherries and malt. In the taste you find a small bitterness and a bid body. It is not as sour as ther bruins I tested but so good.

Jul 31, 2008 Updated: Aug 2, 2008Poured a dark brown color with an off white head. Aroma was of sweetness candy sugar, some dark fruits. Flavor was also a bit burnt and some dark fruit with a sweet finish.

Pours dark ruby brown, off white head. Aroma is malty, chewy, anise, pine. Flavor is malty, caramely, and chewy. Not offensive, but not very complex. Disappointing for a $6.95 price tag at the Sharp Edge.
