4.6 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20 Benjii (2395) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - SEP 29, 2011
75cl, 2006 bottle at Kulminator. Needed 15 minutes in the fridge before we could drink it to prevent an explosion. Pours a blonde colour with a beautiful, pillowy white head that dies down to moderate. Classic geuze nose of horse-blanket, leather tobacco pouch, cigar box, lemon and grass. Brilliantly musty with horse-blanket again, Brett, leather and cigar box notes. Unreal! Moderate carbonation and a light CO2 prickle. A foamy mouth-feel with a musty, lemon citrus linger. Dry finish. Only mildly sour, all the classic geuze qualities without the sourness. Really interesting.
4.6 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 77ships (976) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - OCT 16, 2011
UPDATED: OCT 30, 2011 2006 Vintage unlabeled 75 cl. bottle/shared@Kulminator: brief sweet, fruity, yeast, hoppy upfront, bitter (Kerkomse triple) followed by musty, lots of horse blanket, sour lemons, dust, slight grains, cobwebs (3F lambic) with a dominant strong, zesty, spunky bitterness like akin to what you get at the 3F Geuze, fuity, bitter, very hoppy, lemony, musty sour, slightly prickly, really digging this combination of a blond ale and lambic, should be done more frequently/// sampled two more different bottles, the proportions between the two beers does seem vary quite a lot, last one 3F kind of overwhelmed but still great, like it more when the ale is featured more

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 dirkbreedveld (286) - NETHERLANDS - MAR 10, 2004
Nice dry beerblend, and very refreshing too.
There is hardly any sourness traceable in the taste but more the woodenflavours which complement the bitters of the hopps.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 blafa (505) - Helsingborg, SWEDEN - NOV 2, 2011
Bottle at Akkurat. Stockholm, September 28th, 2011.
Lightly musty and oxidated and first, beneath that flowery and slightly sweet with a big dash of sour apples. A bit funky - Just how I like it. Body is light and the taste is sourish with a distant sweetness. It’s very clean and refreshing which is something I didn’t expect. Some grass and barnyard in the finish.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 JorisPPattyn (6725) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - MAR 6, 2004
(Draught / blended with Girardin lambic) Pale, greenish shine; very yellowish head. Slight Brett, lactic acid, and a copper-metallic nose. Taste is quite hopbitter! No sourness. Both aroma- and bitterhops. Medium-bodied, dry. Very nice, extremely refreshing ale, in a great blend.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 sayravai (4548) - Helsinki, FINLAND - SEP 7, 2006
(Draught@Pikkulintu, Helsinki) Hazy pale yellow color with a small, tight, fading head. Crisply hoppy, Saison Duponty-pilsenery aroma. Yeasty, freshly hoppy flavor with only a hint of tartness from the lambic. Light to medium-bodied palate with balanced carbonation. A very nice and refreshing summer brew.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 MrWalker (926) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - NOV 19, 2005
Keg @ Akkurat, Stockholm Labeled 2003. No hint of lambic at all. Found it very similar to the Blonde, actually. Maybe I have to try it again. Very refreshing, notes of wheat, vanilla and hops. Smooth.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 gnoff (5001) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - APR 15, 2006
Sample from the tap at Akkurat in Stockholm, Sweden, November 2005. Called Bink Reuss 2003. Hoppy beer, not like a lambic at all.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 pantanap (2838) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 4, 2010
Reuss. 3fonteinen blend called .750ml bottle consumed at kulminator.
Unlabeled bottle and listed as 6.5% abv. Description reports that this is a blend of a belgian ale and lambic from 3font.... Pours a light hazy pale
golden light brown...Aroma is lightly guezelike that collaborate with
a sweeter light grain and lemon accents, some pear to boot... Flavors
are very lightly tart with a soft profile overall that seems like a
combination of a gueze and a lightl hopped earthy pale ale.
Carbonation is effervescent and spritely carbonated. Body is on the
lighter side but works well with the liveliness of the brew itself.
