A little watery yellow lager with a bitter end but with a lively carbonation. Suite better a sunny day but it goes well with just some friends.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle from Mitsuya. Light skunky aroma with some sweet malt and very faint grassy hops. Average carbonation with a grainy mouthfeel. Taste is pretty inoffensive, but there is a hint of hops in the finish. Easy drinking, but forgettable. Country tick :P

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
UPDATED: FEB 2, 2016 Categorized here as a pale lager, but says pilsner on the bottle which is a better deScription. Sampled while on vacation here in Indonesia. It’s drinkable, semi-clean, with not that much of a metallic or rusty flavor. Besides that, not much going on here. Owned by Heineken, but not quite as good as that. I liked their lemon and grapefruit shandys better.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Thanks heavy for bringing this from Vienna! Poured a golden body with a small, rapidly disappearing white head. Mild creamy fruity corny aroma. Taste... well... same... fruity note, quite corny, with a light lemony touch. Not offensive as such. Hops? Riiiiiight. Guess I wouldn’t say no in the tropical heat if it was the only thing around. Outside of that context, it’s a no.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pale golden color out of the bottle with a short lived white head. Nose of sweet grain and something metallic. Relatively clean international lager, with some raw grain, white sugar sweetness and a bit of a harsh bite in the finish.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
An alright lager. It has all the qualities you want from one: bitterness and that characteristic aftertaste. Bintang has them, without it being a special thing.
