Kita (1232) - Koper, SLOVENIA - NOV 25, 2014
Bottle, 0.33l, courtesy of Rade. Clear golden color with medium frothy white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of grass, paper, cereals with slight citric note. Taste starts light sweet grainy and chalky, follows grassy with crisp and dry mouthfeel and moderate bitter finish. Light body, thin texture and lively carbonation in palate. Thirst killer of fun killer? Well, not that bad, could be much worse...

mooie pilsener dit. Heb hem vaak gedronken bij pittige indonesische gerechten waar dit bier volledig tot zijn recht komt.

Alengrin (2618) - BELGIUM - OCT 17, 2014
Indonesia’s standard lager, with thin but stable and regular, snow white head and pale golden blonde colour with steady fizz. Very weak aroma mostly revealing ’lightstruck’ (cat pee) effect at first, after which a faint sourish graininess appears, a bit sweaty (I hesitate to write this: feet?), a hint of iron and cooked rice, hardly any hops at all. Taste is on the neutral side, thin and watery with medium carbonation, some minerals, but the sourish graininess from the aroma dominates and leads to a finish with some faint and simple grassy hops along with a somewhat wry ’chemical’ plastic effect, as I would expect from ’macro’ lagers in the style of Heineken and the like. Nothing redeeming at all, this is below average even for an Asian standard pale lager.

eduardovl (987) - SWITZERLAND - OCT 14, 2014
UPDATED: DEC 16, 2014 330ml bottle poured in a chalice. I’m sorry but this is not a German Pilsener by any means, this could be classified as a Lager or an Adjunct Lager at maximum A: Pale yellow color with a small fizzy white head. Ridiculous retention S: Adjunct malts, rice or corn (or both) most probably T: Watery. Some malts. Quite dry but, in overall, tasteless. Small bitterness. Ok, refreshing, like water M: Very light body. Medium to low (disappointing) carbonation D: A "beer" to be avoided [ BA Review @ 10/14/2010 ]

33cl flesje cadeau gekregen uit Indonesië Alcoholpercentage van 4,7% Gedronken meteen uit het flesje Pilsener conclusie: brouwerij in handen van Heineken zie ik, proeft ook veel in die richting. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: SEP 15, 2014 33cl bottle in Bintan, Indonesia. Not the first time I had tried this, but it is pretty much the Indonesian staple pilsner. Not much aroma. Amber in colour with a good white coloured head which quickly disappears. Pretty run of the mill pilsner - refreshing for the climate. Best enjoyed locally.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Golden colored brew with almost no bitter taste at all, some sweety malty hints. There are better South-East Asian Lagers to like, this one is for the tick.
