2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Looks ok, kinda smells ok but just nothing happening in the mouthfeel and flavour department. Very fizzy, and this sensation just drowns out any real character. At best a texture beer - ie one for a hot day when you want to suck down a few.
Quite disappointing, particularly in the Oz context given it trades around $18 for a 6-pack

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
12 oz bottle brought back from Jakarta by a friend (thanks Bryan!). Standard macro lager fare; yellow, starchy, big white yellow head. Bit mellower maybe than some of the American cousins ... mellow and smooth, but quite boring.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Golden colored, medium white head. Sweet, corny and mildly hopped aroma. Thin to medium bodied. Sweetness, corn and mild hops in flavor, dull but clean brew.

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Clear yellow colour with a small white head. Malty and sweet aroma with notes of straw and corn. Sweet and light grainy flavor with a rather bland finish.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle. Had this at an Indonesian restaurant in Tilburg. Clear yellow color, short dying head. Typical pale lager, malty aroma, some hay. Soft taste, bit watery.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
(Bottle 33 cl) 5% ABV in my version. Pilsener golden with a creamy, dissipating head. Sticky, sweetish aroma. Medium body with traces of malt, but mainly dominated by chicken fodder, corn, rice or whatever brewing cereal was used. Cardboard tang. Typical bland, Asian lager. Thanks to Jeppe for bringing me this from Bali - just before the bombs...120306

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: APR 30, 2006 It was not exactly a Pilsener, from my point of view. It was more like a lager, but with this corch taste in the back. It was a little refreshing and good with a hamburger.

1.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
Browney points for this being an asian pilksner rather than pale lager. Aroma is minimal but not offensive. Taste is, well im having this with spicey food and its going down not too bad. Having another taste after eating shows it is rather rubbish, but a few more points than my average lager rating.

Gold. No head. Light grassy aroma. A little sweet and a little bitterness. A little more beer-like than Anker.

2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Looks the part of the ordinary pilsener. No aroma to speak of. Very sweet and fruity flavour. Not bad for spicy food.
