Canned. Clear golden, no head. Arom of rotting pineapple with stale butter. Seet and fruity, light bodied with ruonded mouthfeel. No bitterness. Severely offputting N/A.

0.6 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
Canned. Ouch. What a beer. Golden coloured. Clear. Dense off white head. Aroma of overyly ripe banana and lychee. Quite unpleasant. Flavour is perfumed and very very sweet. Is thin bodied. Has an overly sweet and fruity end. Absolutely not my kind of beer.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottled. Sampled at Delirium Café, Göteborg.
Very pale golden. Super clean nose, does not smell anything at all. Flavour is like cheap mineral water with suggestions of banana. No bitterness, no maltiness. Ultra useless beer.

1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
A light orange beer with a small white head. The aroma is sweet fruity - somewhat exotic. The flavor is also sweet fruity - like some exotic fruit juice - not really a beer to me. No wonder the body is thin.

1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottled. Pours a dark golden with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, very much so. Mostly tropical fruits, but some pear and apple is there too. Taste is almost entirely fruity. Pear, apple, tropical fruits. This is truely an astounding beverage. Almost, but not entirely, totally unlike beer.

Bottle. Pale golden colour with a small white head. Excotic fruits aroma and a very sweet excotic fruity taste. Watery body and a sweet finish.

1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
(Bottle 33 cl) Pale golden with a small and lovely creamy head. Indefinable sweetish aroma. Incredibly light body with sweetish, fruity notes - tropical fruit like pawpaw - and some pear. Lightly artificial sweet finish. Not unpleasant as such, but very, very unusual. Thanks to Jeppe for bringing me this 221005

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Difficult to rate this, considering it has almost nothing in common with beer. Color like cider. Fruity aroma. Flavor is mostly like cider, but the palate reveals some malt.

1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
Downing a lot of Bintang’s whilst on my honeymoon, seemed part and parcel to the climate and country itself. This one I thought would be somewhat close to it’s big brother, but turned out to be an awful little drain poor, that was really hard to finish. In the glass it was like being served lemonade, pale straw in colour, with huge bubbles streaming their way to the surface. Aroma was malty, like ovaltine, but unpleasant due to the apple and lemon notes. Very malty in the mouth, sweet throughout, and finished with a citric hit at the back of the mouth. Sour, lactic and gummy mouth feel, gave the impression it was almost a cider mixed with a malt energy drink. Not refreshing at all, and without any alcohol serves no other purpose. Still, interesting and unique.... I suppose!!!
