| 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Oct 5, 2008 Bottle (330ml). Poured copper with a small, frothy, white head which was mostly diminishing. Aroma was of butterscotch and stewed fruits with sweet biscuity malts and some light metallic notes. Flavor was of dusty, chalky, infected homebrew with sweet malts, acidic berries, old fruit, caramel, dust and band-aids in the finish. Light bodied with, medium carbonation, a dry/acidic mouthfeel and a short finish. Awful stuff. Samma (51), Australia
| 0.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 2/20 | Jun 10, 2008 On tap at brewery. This was as disappointing as the pilsner. Just taste like its come out a homebrew kit (no criticism of homebrew but this just lacks any character). Suffers same ashtray problem as pilsner. Wonder if they have a line problem? | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 26, 2007 Bottle - I must have got one from the same batch as vanvenio, since his description is spot on. But I found the aroma peachy and so sweet it’s almost chemically and not particularly pleasant. Judging by the very mixed ratings of this beer, it looks like Bintara have some quality control problems. Not the nicest beer I’ve tasted, but very unusual and interesting. vanvenlo (794), Glen Iris, Australia

Amber-brown colour, good head and suds lacing. Light smoke malt hop and rusk flavour. Dry tangy but thin finish and light malt aftertaste. Lunkie (1020), Glen Iris, Australia
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 12, 2007 Sweet hop malt aroma. Clear red brown amber colour with good foamy head and lacing. Hoppy malt flavour with fruits and flowers. Smooth palate. Dredd (498), Ormond, Australia
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Jun 3, 2006 Bitterly dissapointing. This is so bad, I think it may have been a bad batch or an off batch. The aroma is very bready and the flavours are kind of apricot and bread. no hops at all which is very puzzling for a pale ale. at one point I knocked on the side of the glass and said "hello, are there any hops in there?"
This one does not cut it at all, possible worst microbrew i’ve had which is a shame. madquacker (731), Canberra ACT, Australia
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Mar 3, 2006 A brown swill with a circle of mild lace. No head to speak of at all. Tastes of water with a bit of flavouring. Ordinary. omhper (12335), Stockholm, Sweden
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Feb 7, 2006 Bottled. Brownish amber, no head. Apply syrup aroma. Sweet and fruity with some bready malt, and a hint of grassy hops. Unfortunately syrup is the dominating feature, and the mouthfeel is really raw and mellow.
