1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 mkel07 (1806) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - MAY 7, 2011
330ml bottle. Quite clear and a bit darker than most pilseners. Level layer of thin foam with some fruity wine like aromas which are okay. Flavour is bland.
2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 MBison (548) - Southern Highlands, AUSTRALIA - OCT 5, 2008
Bottle (330ml). Poured muddy golden orange with an averaged sized, rocky, white head which was mostly diminishing. Aroma was of fruity hops with kiwifruit, canned peaches, apricots, sweet biscuity malts and some light grassy notes. Sour apricot yogurt dominates the flavor with a light bitterness, dry chalky malts, acidic grape skins (green) and some light plastic-like notes in the aftertaste. Light to medium bodied with lively carbonation, a dry\some-what watery mouthfeel and an ok finish. Seemed I got a good bottle, which was still a disaster.

On tap at brewery. This was a very, very disappointing experience. Tasted less sophisticated than my homebrew efforts (and I’m far from a craftsman). Overly malty and with distinct ashtray ’flavour’. I even asked the barman if there might be a problem with it but he seemed oblivious.
0.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20 ChrisTurner (202) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - FEB 6, 2007
Bottle -- Pours a weak, sickly yellow colour with next to no head. Unpleasant aroma that’s both sweet and stale. Unpleasant maltiness and saltiness. Could turn a bloke off beer.
0.9 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20 Spiesy (2336) - Sydney, Greater London, AUSTRALIA - MAY 5, 2004
Bottled whilst at Paddy’s Brewpub, Flemington, Australia. Golden with a course white head. This beer is unfinished, to be truthful it probably wasn’t ever started. Smalls and tastes like homebrew syrup before you brew the stuff. Malty, salty, unfermented jive. The gathering: duff, eczematic, motelpogo, Spiesy, Sully and late arrival Linc.

Failed to see why this should get any points at all. Pilsner? don’t think so, all i tasted was malt, and genuine uglyness. Seawater, chlorine, boiled vegetables, unbelievably odd. Brewed in Rutherglen, an area famous for its fortified wines, i would have thought they could have done better with this.

I didn't know you could brew beers with seawater. Or water from a swimming pool. Anyway they tried with the result that they were eminently successful in brewing an offensive and tragic beer.

smells of chicken loaf, tastes of chlorine. gruesomely infected like an ingrown toenail. absolutely undrinkable.

this brewery is equally as tragic as outback even if their beers aren't quite as disgusting. this had a pale malt and porridge aroma and tasted of flour. really awful

Golden with big but loose white head. I think this is a malt or yeast aroma. Really funky taste like stale yeast or something. A metalic aftertaste with a slight dirty bitterness. I feel guilty. I really wanted to support this new local micro but I just can't. Their output is too ordinary.
