Bottled. A golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of malt, brewing cereal, and cardboard. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, boring hops, brewing cereal, and cardboard, leading to a dry cardboard finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

0.8 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20 Oakes (10941) - Savusavu, FIJI ISLANDS - AUG 6, 2011
Dull gold and no head. Smells very swilly, grainy with no hop. Grainy taste is bland, lifeless and fairly unpleasant. Seems like they’re trying to market industrial swill as something wholesome. Not sure how I feel about that, but this is pretty poor beer.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 Rune (6125) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JUL 13, 2011
300ml bottle from Rethymno, Crete, thanks to Frau Eva. Bright golden with a shade of amber. Decent white head. Malt accented beer with bread-like aroma followed by mid-sweet malts with hints of caramel. Subdued hops in the ending. Soft in the mouth. Alright (shared with Eva at home in Tromsø, 13.07.2011).
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 DruncanVeasey (6116) - NUNEATON, Blue Square Premier, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - AUG 31, 2011
Bottle on balcony. Some initial hints of fruitiness on the snout giving way to the usual cocktail of beachmat, cardboard and glue as the head subsides- which is quickly. Rotting fruit taste, maybe banana, smothered with envelope adhesive, cracker crumbs. Bright gold. Poor.
1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 Beershine (5173) - The Sunshine State, Florida, USA - MAY 1, 2011
Bottle. Bright coppery gold, insubstantial head. Ewe, horrible bubble gum aroma. Gassy carbonation and fizzy soda water palate. Could rate the palate lower but the aftertaste redeems. Tastes much better than it smells, thank god, is balanced and the malt character comes out alright with a decent grassy hop finish. Whew.
