COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Bios Kriek Lambic is sold under the CHERISH label in the USA and outside Europe. Everybody likes the right balance between the sourness of the Lambic and the sweetness of the fruit, in this case cherries. The aroma of the cherries is not too dominant, as it should be. The beer gives a very pleasant and refreshing feeling in the mouth, with a smooth cherry aftertaste. The Bios Kriek Lambic is an excellent thirst quencher, low in alcohol (5 % by volume) and great to drink at parties. True Lambic lovers prefer the Bios Kriek Lambic so much because you taste slightly more of the Lambic sourness, than in some more commercial Belgian Lambics, wherein the artificial sweetness is too strong.

A red beer with a barely there pink head. The aroma is dominated by cherry, of course, as is the flavor. I don’t have much experience with many lambic beers, but the flavor and aroma are pleasant, though a bit too sweet to drink a lot of.

From a bottle poured a ruby color with a small amount of head. Nice light tart cherry flavor with a quick finish.

Pours a pinkish reddish color. Aromas of cherries, almonds. Flavor is a subdued tart cherry taste, not a big as I expected. Medium bodied with a slight tart mouthfeel.

Pours a dark cherry red color with no head and little to no lacing. Aroma is cherry cough medicine. The taste is super sweet cherry soda plus a little sourness. Its more of a soda than a beer but its tasty and easy to drink.

bottle... very dark for a kriek, muddy dark purple, light purple head... the aroma is cloying sweet in the vain of lindeman’s or st louis, sweet maraschino cherries, sugar, candy, a bit tart but not enough... tastes way too sweet with an off metallic cherry sour note, weird finish, one of my least favorite sweet fruit lambics but still crushable... only for a beginner

Slight reddish color, but mostly amber. White head holds. Sweet cherry aroma and flavor. A little cloudy. It’s just too sweet though and tastes like sucralose, etc.

On keg at S.Brevinga Alus un viskija salons, Riga. Pours a red colour with a fair pink head. Aroma and flavours very sweet with cherry and not much else. A foamy mouth-feel and a light tart lemon finish attempt to convince that this is actually beer and not confectionary. Moderate carbonation and a light CO2 prickle. Too sweet and artificial for me.

Starts off with a sweet and tart cherry aroma. Very vibrant red color with an amber tinge and a fine, lacy head. The aroma makes you think this might be another sickly sweet cherry lambic, but the first taste allays that fear. A rich cherry flavor comes through with the sweet/tart flavor. A sourness follows that keeps the sweetness in check. Finishes with more sweet cherry flavor and a puckering sourness on the tongue. Excellent cherry lambic.

8 oz bottle. Pours a bright maraschino cherry red. Taste of sweet cherry with a hint of alcohol. Not a bad flavor, but more like cherry soda than a beer.

Bottle at Rockaway Seafood Company for dessert. Clear pale pinkish red color, small but tight head. Aroma is fresh cherry juice, slightly medicinal. Light bodied with spritzy, champagne like carbonation. Has an authentic cherry infusion flavor. The finish is outstanding, very long, first sweet, then tart, then sweet, then tart, then just perfect balance and harmony. Really good.
