COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Bios Kriek Lambic is sold under the CHERISH label in the USA and outside Europe. Everybody likes the right balance between the sourness of the Lambic and the sweetness of the fruit, in this case cherries. The aroma of the cherries is not too dominant, as it should be. The beer gives a very pleasant and refreshing feeling in the mouth, with a smooth cherry aftertaste. The Bios Kriek Lambic is an excellent thirst quencher, low in alcohol (5 % by volume) and great to drink at parties. True Lambic lovers prefer the Bios Kriek Lambic so much because you taste slightly more of the Lambic sourness, than in some more commercial Belgian Lambics, wherein the artificial sweetness is too strong.

8 oz bottle. Pours a bright maraschino cherry red. Taste of sweet cherry with a hint of alcohol. Not a bad flavor, but more like cherry soda than a beer.

Bottle at Rockaway Seafood Company for dessert. Clear pale pinkish red color, small but tight head. Aroma is fresh cherry juice, slightly medicinal. Light bodied with spritzy, champagne like carbonation. Has an authentic cherry infusion flavor. The finish is outstanding, very long, first sweet, then tart, then sweet, then tart, then just perfect balance and harmony. Really good.

Bottle at the nook. Pours deep cherry red with a thin white head. Cloying cherry cough syrup on the nose. The more the beer warms the more I hate the smell. Slightly more sourness on the tongue to balance out the cherry juice. Not a great example of the style by any stretch of the imagination.

Sipper bottle under the "Cherish" title. sugary nose of cherries followed by exuberant head after gentle pour. Settled down and was a hazy reddish pink in glass. I wont go so far as to call it cough syrup but fortified cherries for certain. Some light tartness for finish. Overall it was easily consumable but it is Lambic for the masses, not for the beer geek. It was nice on this hot evening.

Bottle @ bros house. Dark red maroon appearance with a reddish cream colored head. Amazingly fruity, slightly sour, delicious cherry aroma. Cherries and cream delicious, slightly tart flavor. Great brew. I love it.

Sour cherry, medicinal. Not at all funky really, and very syrupy. Dark red with pink head. Ok, but I’ve had much better krieks.

Labeled as Cherish Kriek. Sampled on draft this beer poured a dark pink-red color with a large pink head that faded quickly but left good lacing. The aroma was sweet sugar and artificial cherry. The flavor was very tart with a strong cherry juice presence. The finish was incredibly long with tart cherry juice dominating. Light to medium body. Excellent.
