2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 IrishBoy (3264) - Bakersfield, California, USA - DEC 29, 2009
25 cl bottle from Five Points Liquors, Ventura. Nose of cherries with light tartness and minor yeasty notes. Hazy plum colored with a very small pink jead that laces very lightly. Flavor is fairly sweet cherries with a mild tartness. Too sweet for my taste.

Pours a red color with a big head that sticks around for quite some time. The aroma is sugary and packed with sour cherries and fruity snacks. The flavor is of course the same a bit medicinal and overly sweet but not without a good bit of tartness and sour cherry flavor. Not entirely awful.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 GG (1980) - NorCal, California, USA - NOV 27, 2009
While not nearly as sweet as Lindeman’s, it’s easy to see that it’s made for enjoyment by the masses instead of hardcore beer geeks. And succeed in that it did, as I gave it to several people and all enjoyed the aroma and taste. It’s pretty straightforward in it’s presentation. Cherry candy/soda aroma and slightly musty. Cherry forward in the flavor with a just a hint of tartness to it. Kinda like eating the middle of a cherry cordial but not nearly as cloying or sweet. Nice cherry flavor.

8.4oz Cherish bottle. Pours a slightly murky somewhat bright purplish red with a nice fine white fizzy froth. Aroma is strong medicinal cherry, sweet and bright, cherry fruit snack. Flavor at first is quite sweet, strong cherry, then becomes mouth puckeringly tart and fairly sour, tastes like sour cherry candy, not quite lambic levels of sourness, but it is sharply tart. Medium bodied with super sharp crisp carbonation, nice mouth-feel. Sure why not.... it is kool-aid like..
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 ricke (476) - Malme, SWEDEN - NOV 16, 2009
Ruby color, slightly hazy. A nice, pink and dense head with nice looking lacings. Quite good retention.
A distinct smell of candy-like cherries, not really the artificial candy smell you get from some sweetened fruit lambics, though. Rather, it’s like hard cherry candies. One-sided, but kind of nice due to the distinctness of the aromas.
Big sweet cherry flavors of the same kind as in the smell quickly hand over to a tart fruity flavor with a slightly lemony character. The tart dimension really adds to the brew, but it’s still rather one-sided. Faint earthy yeast note. The finish is slightly dry with some mineral notes and tart cherries. The finish is rather short.
Medium body, sparkly carbonation. Slightly dry.
Quite tasty actually, but still far away from the top examples of fruit lambic. But it’s also far away from the sugary sweet examples of the style. Would probably drink it again if I had the opportunity.

As Cherish cherry. Berry cherry red with a medium pink head and some minor lacing. Aroma of tart cherries, malt and cherry soda. Taste is of more tart cherries, malt, cherry cola and mild yeast. Finishes up tart and sweet. Not bad in a small dose.

ruby red color, clear no head, sweet cherry aroma, pretty one dimensional flavor, cherry candy syrup, sweet with subtle tartness, not funky or sour. Just like their raspberry lambic only cherry
