COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Bios Kriek Lambic is sold under the CHERISH label in the USA and outside Europe. Everybody likes the right balance between the sourness of the Lambic and the sweetness of the fruit, in this case cherries. The aroma of the cherries is not too dominant, as it should be. The beer gives a very pleasant and refreshing feeling in the mouth, with a smooth cherry aftertaste. The Bios Kriek Lambic is an excellent thirst quencher, low in alcohol (5 % by volume) and great to drink at parties. True Lambic lovers prefer the Bios Kriek Lambic so much because you taste slightly more of the Lambic sourness, than in some more commercial Belgian Lambics, wherein the artificial sweetness is too strong.

Beautiful red colour. Pinkish white head. Big cherry aroma. Nice cherry-stone bitter flavour. Very drinkable and not too sweet.

Labeled as Cherish Kriek. Sampled on draft this beer poured a dark pink-red color with a large pink head that faded quickly but left good lacing. The aroma was sweet sugar and artificial cherry. The flavor was very tart with a strong cherry juice presence. The finish was incredibly long with tart cherry juice dominating. Light to medium body. Excellent.

25 cl. Cherish version, 07 vintage. Dark red-brown with a two-finger lasting and creamy head. Nice frosting all over the glass. Big aroma of tart cherry and slight apple. Flavor is sweet and tart cherry pie with a hint of cinnamon, apple vinegar and lemon juice on the finish. Medium body is creamy but lightly rippled with carbonation.

Bottle at Rockaway Seafood Company for dessert. Clear pale pinkish red color, small but tight head. Aroma is fresh cherry juice, slightly medicinal. Light bodied with spritzy, champagne like carbonation. Has an authentic cherry infusion flavor. The finish is outstanding, very long, first sweet, then tart, then sweet, then tart, then just perfect balance and harmony. Really good.

A brilliantly clear cherry red color on the pour. Head is AWOL, as is the lace. Nose is “Cherry Cough Drops”, or better yet one of my mother’s “Cherry Cobblers”, God how I miss her and those pies, but then that’s what makes memories so special. Front is sweet, but the tartness hits immediately at the gaunt top. Finish is acidulous, sparsely hopped, dry sherry like aftertaste, pleasant at any rate and if you like lambics, the “Cherish” line as with Melbourne Bros. are well worth a sample. Ranks #360 on my current 1000 beer masterlist.

I didn't expect much from this beer but I was impressed. It pours with a red body topped by a thin head with little lacing. The aroma is full of sweet marichino (sp?) cherries with slight malt notes. The flavor is slightly sour yet sweet with tons of marichino(sp? again) and a hint of malt. Light bodied, smooth and dry.

On tap at Den Tatorverede Enke during RBESG 05 pub crawl. Looks great - bright cerise, with a pink fluffy head. Good marzipan, cherry, cough syrupflavour. Falls off a little on the finish, but otherwise sweet, thick , creamy and very tasty.

A Sim rate (bottled from the Belgian Belly): Glorious sweet kriek aroma with sour hints. Similar in the flavour. Tangy and slightly acidic in a balsamic vinegar Rodenbach Grand Cru kind of way. Almost spirit like rather than beer like.
