Deep copper/red color with long lasting white head. Aroma is tart. Flavor is sour cherries, ..I found this more full bodied than other reviewers. It has a fairly dry finish.

Pours beatuifully, with a short lasting soda head. Aroma is yeasty and tart. Body is a little thin, but the less-than-complete cherry bill is still fantastic. Upping the ingedient ante would have made this fantastic. On the dry side.

UPDATED: FEB 25, 2005 Sour cherries and apple dominate the taste of this beer. Medium-thin body. Very drinkable.

Hazy amber coloured body with a thin off-white head. Aroma of tart cherries, tart raspberries, malt and some oak. Medium-bodied; No fullness at all-just a light tartness-nothing strong. Overall, a decent flemish sour, but not great though! I sampled this 33 cL bottle at the November RB party at Founder’s in Alexandria, Virginia on 20-November-2004.

UPDATED: FEB 12, 2008 Bottle. Clear aburn brown with no head. Aroma is sour cherry and yeast. Taste is medium sweet.

Bottle. Cognac/port aroma. Cloudy brown colour, small head. Flavour is mostly sour and dry with a little port note.

Murky, burnt orange ale with a medium-sized, fizzy, off-white head. The aroma is very earthy with notes of leather, vanilla (just a hint) and cola. Moderately sour flavor with notes of lemon and wood. Light-bodied and astringent with fizzy carbonation. Lengthy, sour, bone-dry finish. Good stuff.

Aroma of sour cherries. Flavor is of mixed (sour & sweet) cherries with a slight wood.

Sampled at the DC/MD/VA/WV/PA Ratebeer Gathering 11/20/04. Dark copper. Sour, horsey nose. Taste has notes of citrus, cherry, pretty sour and tart. Medium body.

Reddish amber. Nose lightly sour, some cherry in the nose. Unexpectedly fruity, very much predominates towards the fruit-cherry side of things, is just mildly sour. Not that much going on, and would seem to be beter classified as a fruit ale.
