COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle. 5.2%. Best before 07.04.15. Pours a hazy pale-ish yellow with a diminishing white head. Slight lacing. Aroma is a bit tart; slightly berry-like, with notes of fruit and light cooked vegetables. Some hops and more fruit as it warms. Flavour is sweetish – getting sweeter as it warms, and a bit tart as well. Light plastic note, which is joined by a fruity note as it warms. Grainy finish with a light hop note. Lingering grassy note. A bit too much carbonation, but palate also feels a wee bit oily. Overall so-so – but I’ve had much worse pale lagers than this. The grainy note in the finish is the most problematic ting about about this beer. 01.08.14.

My Bottom Line:
Honeyed cereals envelop subtly herbal hops in this clean but forgettable brew.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam covers the clear amber.
-The finish is vaguely bitter and mostly malty sweet.
-Drinkability is very high.
-The mouthfeel is softly effervescent.

On tap at Il Santo Bevitore, Venice.
