Bottle at ChrisO Snow Tasting, thanks to mR_fr0g. It pours hazy deep amber with a medium off-white head. The nose is orange, mango, tangerine, spice, wood, alcohol, smoke and earth. The taste is caramel, wood, leather, orange, tangerine, mango, apricot, earth and charcoal with a dry, citric finish. Perhaps not the most balanced beer, but it’s interesting and pretty flavoursome.

Bottle. Amber with white head. Aroma of tcp and soap. Taste has more tcp and soap, plastic, solvent, some resinous fruitiness, peach and a touch of smoke. A rank mess.

Bottle at Chrisos tasting 20/01/2013. One of my ones. Clear orange amber, thin white head. Heather, toffee aroma with faint smoke. Flavour oats, toffee with more wood and smoke / charcoal. Bit of citrus finish. Palate is spritzy with a dry finish. A lot going on in this beer. A little muddled, but generally a very interesting beer.

Bottle at Chriso Snow Tasting, thanks to Fergus, 20/01/13. Hazed mid amber with a thin off white head that retains well. Nose carries light smoke, sugars, liqourice, wood. Taste follows, much more smoke, charred wood, dark malts, dark fruits. Medium bodied with bite, soft carbonation, smokey bitter finish. Decent.

Bottle from Brewdog shop. Thick light brown color, white head. Bitter taste with caramel, citrus, peat, pine and earthy notes. Nicely balanced body. Bitter finish with whisky aroma and resin. Excellent, unique brew.

330ml bottle from Archive Beer Boutique. A mighty fine looking drop with a big thick creamy looking head of sandy coloured foam. Hazy dirty amber colour with vanilla, toffee and caramel aromas.light in the mouth but has a big kick to it, a little deceiving I think. Smooth with a whiskey like aftertaste.

Tap in BrewDog Glasgow. Quite a nice smokey beer with a sweet whisky aroma and a warming drinking experience. Lovely!

On tap at Brewdog Shoreditch. It pours dark ruby almost brown with a nice off white head. Quite lasting foam. Aroma is sweet and peaty with some hop hints, wood and roasted malts. Taste is initially sweet than turns to roasty smoky and bitter. Very nice balance here. Body is quite full with good carbonation. Overall, delicious.
