Tap at Churchkey. Clear reddish maroon, edge bubbles. Aroma of wood, furniture polish and citrus. Taste is very acidic and bitter, herbal overtones. Interesting but rough.

rosso scuro con uno splendito cappello bianchissimo, compatto e persistente. l’odore di agrume riempie il naso,ma poi finisce li,risulta troppo frizzantina e forse troppo poco equilibrata rispetto all’alta gradazione che ha.

Tap at The Diamond. Poured a cloudy dark amber witha thin bubbly head. Nose was interesting. Grapes, sour grapes, candied sugars and??? First flavor impression is grape bubblegum. But Ina good way. Yes, it’s sweet, but there is a certain balance that makes me say wow this is good!! Has kind of a musty sweet finish. Not an everyday beer, but a beer to try for sure.

From a magnum at Beer Table. Deep amber-orange pour. The nose is really lovely with a bright herbal/spicy nose. Fruity with a bit of cherry and strawberry. There is a really nice lightness to the aroma and some unusual fruitness. A bit of gooseberry and kiwi. The malts have a lightly grassy/grainy quality. A touch of soft spiciness toward the back of the palate. Fairly unique character with a bit of a floral character. Rose, orange and a bit of light yeastiness. The back finishes with a kiss of lactic tartness. Really subtle, complex and unique brew.

Mi è capitato di assaggiare bottiglie molto diverse tra di loro di 25 dodici...a volte è stata un po insoddisfacente.. a volte era molto buona! la speziatura era degna di un ottima birra di natale..

12.7 fl oz bottle shared by beastiefan2k. Pour is hazed brown orange amber with a smallish off white head. The head falls off to a few small bubbles quickly. Aroma of sweet malts, soft toasty bready grain, some nice bitter fruitiness. The nose is quite full and inviting. Taste has some light fruit sourness up front, followed close behind with the brown sugar sweet maltiness, and a big mineral earthiness. Decent integration of the sour, fruit and earth. Palate is medium, coats the mouth a bit, aftertaste sees the pleasant mineral aspect turn a bit unclean. Thanks for sharing this one Eugene, it was an interesting beer.

Pours a dark chestnut brown color with dark golden ruby/amber edges and a very thin bubbly off-white head that immediately disappears. No lacing. Very earthy, grassy aroma with a lot of soily hops, dark fruit, cough syrup, candy sugar and spice. Hints of grape, plum and raisin as well as some spicy peppery zest. When I say earthy I mean it smells like freshly toiled soil. Kind of like wet dirt with estery dark fruit. Lighter end of medium bodied and sightly watered down with some soft carbonation. Very medicinal like robitussin cough syrup with hints of dark fruit and a very prominent earthy/dirty flavor. Subtle hops with hints of grape, raisin, plum, fig and date. It tastes more like a not so dry alcoholic grape juice with dirt thrown in. Slight alcohol heat but ABV is decently masked. Not very drinkable. I really like this brewery and Italian craft beer in general but this was a big disappointing.

Bottle. Pours a mahogany body with a yellow off white foamy head. This is loaded with grape character and precipitates. Dark cane sugars, plum, grape soda pop, mild etoh, chewy caramel candied sugar. Light spices grapes and well lots of grape. The most grape tasting beer i’ve had to date!

Appearance: Handed to me a translucent, dark mahogany-hued body with a short-lived, off-white head. Smell: Strongly sweet wafts of sugar followed by notes of dehydrated dark fruits (sans raisins), dried herbs, spices, toasty malts, and Italian-bred booze. Taste: Light pale maltiness combined with some fully bready, toasty malts and a strong taste of dark candi sugar. Fruity flavors of dates and figs. Subtle spice qualities of coriander, cinnamon, and orange peel. Light earthy, spicy hops and bitterness. Fairly warm, semi-sweet finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-plus body. Rather low carbonation. Drinkability: The 25 Dodici had quite a Christmastime quality about it. Sadly, with the rather noticeable alcohol and low carbonation it came across as hot and flat. Not a winner with me.
