Yeasty, spicy, malty and earthy hops, ABV noticable but well integrated. Deep copper colour, lovely beige head, lots of lacing. Medium bite (heavy for the style) noticably sweet, slightly, slightly salty. Medium/fullbodied, soft carbonation, bitter finish. Solid.

750ml dark olive-green bottle with the breweries embossed logo and a sealed cap, poured into a Tulip glass. Appearance is cloudy dark brown with a medium sized foamy beige head with good retention. Aroma of orange peels, raisins and caramel. Flavours of orange peels, caramel, raisins, muscovado and loaf. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter. Palate is full bodied, slightly sticky texture and average carbonation. Overall a good beer, but a little too sweet and unbalanced.
