Svesse (1499), Hässelby, Sweden Jun 24, 2008 (Bottle, Monk’s Café, Stockholm) Reddish brown colour with brief, beige head. Malty nose with notes of dried fruit, wild berries, caramel, fudge and spices (nutmeg?). Malty taste with dried fruit, chocolate, caramel and spices. Slightly toasty. Moderate bitterness. Medium body, slightly sweet, with alcohol well hidden. Wouldn’t suffer from a little depth, but still a nice beer. omhper (10141), Stockholm, Sweden May 8, 2008 Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm.
