From a 330ml bottle on 9/10/2015. Pours a cloudy dark apricot with abiggish head. Has a lovely floral, fruity aroma with some honey in the mix. In the mouth, it’s very sweet, with masses of orange, countered by a bit of lemon zestiness, and spice. There’s some biscuity malt, and some relatively firm hops. Medium bodied with fairly lively carbonation. Straight forward but very enjoyable. Under-rated on here imo.

33cl bottle from Brewdog Shoreditch, London. It pours a clean golden color with a medium white head. Aroma is grassy hoppy piney bitter. Taste is lightly sweet and fruity upfront and bitter throughout with notes of grass, pine cones, resin and hay. Light to medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, ok IPA.

from BrewDog’s online shop - cloudy copper-orange beer with a persistent beige foam; hoppy aroma of ripe peaches, almonds; full-bodied, some initial sweetness soon overwhelmed by a strong bitterness; quite dry with a long bitter hoppy finish of fruits and resin

Bottle from Beer Cartel (Jan 2014). Murky amber, creamy tan head, strong caramel, orange zest, citrus/grapefruit hops, medium body, slick texture, medium-long bitter-sweet finish. Ok.

Bottle from Brew Dog on-line. Hazy orange pour with a thin white head. Fragrant hop, fruits, spice and wood notes in the beak. Lively carbonation. Flavour was bready malts, cararmel, orange; hoppage was pretty lifeless. Disappointingly average IPA.

Appearance: Hazy amber with finger thick ivory head. Aroma: Biscuit, bread, yeast, bread dough, note of pineapple, orange marmalade, floral and a vinous note. Taste: Medium sourness, low/medium bitterness and low sweetness. Palate: Thick coarse texture, light body, average carbonation, abrupt dry fruity, marmalade, malty biscuit finish. Comments: Very tasty and glass lace.

Bottle @ Chriso’s pre-GBBF Shindig. The pour’s light amber with a small head. The aroma’s quite sweet. Toasted brown bread slathered in honey. Marzipan and orange marmalade. Cantaloupe fruit leather. The taste is similar. Cantaloupe, marmalade. Nutty toasted malt notes. Somewhat overcarbed. Rough compost on the finish. Medium body, a bit knackered. Overall, this has probably seen better days. Still, there’s a good beer in here.
