Bottle from Slowbeer. Cloudy amber/brown, small off-white head, smoky/peaty, some solid malt sweetness hiding under the peat, fruity hops too. Not really my thing.

Appearance: Red/copper colour, clear. Ivory head about a finger wide. Aroma: Peaty, woody, coriander note, marzipan, smoky, leather, earthy, and hint of whisky. Taste: Medium bitter, low sweetness, slightly malty and a hint of grapefruit (strangely). Palate: quick, thin and refreshing, with a slight carbonation. But at the end is a tingling bitterness and astringency. Comments: It was quite tasty and I would probably have this one again because it was different from what I normally drink. Served in snifter and left glass lace.

Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours cloudy golden orange with a bit of muddiness at the bottom. Smells like pine and resiny hops, light touch of caramel and a light sweet peat. Taste is smooth, like a nice pale ale, medium bitterness with a slight sweet peatiness and upfront hop profile. Few floaties at the bottom of my glass. Inconspicuous alcohol content. Decent beer, thought it would rate higher.

Quite a light beer for 8.4%. Pours a cloudy caramel colour. Not particularly hoppy. Quite an easy beer to drink. Not the greatest of the Brewdog collaborations.
