3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
750ml skittle bottle with expiry 7/15. Pours hazy pale golden with a nice tight white head and lace. Nose has notes of hay, lemon citrus, peppers, cheese, grass and pines. Palate is medium bodied and slick with medium fruity sweetness up front and a gently spicy dry hop bitterness to finish. Would make a great session beer if it were cheaper!

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Beautiful Golden color with creamy white head, hoppy aroma and taste, resinous/peppered sensation but not very rude, bitter and refreshing aftertaste, in complex one good beer but not my favorite style

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
6th January 2014
Euston Tap. Keg. 5.0% abv. Lightly hazy gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and crisp. Light floralness and mild tangy citrus. Mild pine. Crispy minerally finish. Not much yeast here, which I don’t have a problem with that. It’s also pretty drinkable. But why so damn expensive?

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
750ml bottle. Pours a light hazy golden with a finger of frothy white head. Nose is some orange, lime, a bit of acidity and a classic saison funk. Taste is a mild citrus from the hops, more saison funkiness, a slight peachy acidity and a crisp bit of biscuit on the finish. Light body and moderate carbonation. Very refreshing but not all that complex.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
750ml bottle. Almost clear gold with a white head. Floral aroma with oranges, apricots and tropical fruit. Honeyed grainy sweetness, tartish oranges, light tropical and stone fruit. Dry finish with moderate bitterness, some spices and an unusual, vaguely licorice-like herbal note. More refined than rustic, but engaging.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
From 640 ml bottle. Pours a mostly clear lights golden colour with a substantial, lasting head. Aromas are generally quite light, although hay, pear, apple, grape skin and a touch of funk come through. Taste starts out with fresh apple and pear at the front before an unexpectedly firm hop bite in the mid-palate. That drops off to a fairly clean finish with a lemony aftertaste. Quite light bodied, but with a creamy palate. Like it.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Blond body and stable head. Light yet modern hops, light, rounded of malts, clean. Not very pronounced yeast. Simple taste too, but it drinks well. Good body for the abv. Not much to it. (Fancy bottle from Eataly Torino)

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap at Gar Eden. Pale blond colour, creamy white head. Aroma is quite Belgian, grainy and bit of fruit. Taste is grainy, slightly herbal, bit of creaminess, light tropical fruit, peach and touch of citrus. Honey too. Pretty nice and good to find an easy drinking saison as recently people seem to be making them quite boozy. Quite soft.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy yellow gold with sml-med white head. Smells..A little floral hops, grassy, citrus zest and some spice. Tastes..A little hoppy with citrus notes, grassy and some spice I couldn’t recognise...a ground seed of some sort maybe. Tasty saison for a warm Rome day
