09/08/2013 Open Baladin (tap). Dorata limpida con riflessi verdognoli, schiuma bianca media, non molto persistente. Al naso sentori di pane, spezie, coriandolo, note erbacee e leggermente agrumate, una puntina di metallico. In bocca abbastanza anonima e non pulitissima, si lascia comunque bere, nel finale un po di amaro erbaceo. Corpo leggero, carbonazione soft. Saison sbiadita e non in gran forma, non lascia il segno.

Tap at Open Baladin, Roma, 21/06/13. Clear pale golden with a thin off white head, good lacing ensues. Nose is citrus, pale malts, orange rind, light spice. Taste comprises grass, light farmy notes, touch of hops, bitter orange, citrus. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, crisp finish. Adequate saison.

UPDATED: SEP 30, 2013 Serving - Poured from a 33cl bottle into a TEKU glass.
Appearance - Mostly lasting white head, mix of fine and coarse bubbles. Hazy golden color.
Aroma - Medium intensity and medium persistence. Primary aromas of hop, malt and yeast. Secondary aromas of citrus, white flowers, acacia honey, grass, pepper and spicy notes.
Mouth - Medium intensity and medium persistence. Nice sweet entrance. Lightly citric. Hop and citrus tastes. Quite long lasting bitter at the end. Low carbonation. Medium body. Alcohol is low.
Overall - Refreshing and highly drinkable. Well balanced towards the bitter. Harmonic smell and taste.
Beer and food -Perfect session beer. Well accompanied with backed fish, boiled shellfish, white meat, medium seasoned cheese, Italian mozzarella.

Draught at Bir & Fud, Roma. September 08. Pours golden with a small white head. Spicy aroma with citrus and subtle herbal notes. The flavour is citrus, spice and herbs. Low carbonation with a light and bitter mouthfeel. Not bad.
