Tap at Bir&Fud, Rome.

A very interesting "forest floor" and rose petal aroma (coming from Warrior hops, apparently) and then a complex bitter, malty and deliciously hoppy taste with lots of bitterness and fruity hop. Another lovely Del Borgo beer, but Iíd say itís more of an APA than a Saison?

Bottle at home from alesela
decent enough hazy amber beer but a little things and astringent tannins in finish a bit offputting.

Bottled @ La Baguetteria Del Fico.
Pours hazy golden color with a small head. Spices and orange peel on the nose, some yeast and toffee too. Hay and mild hops on the flavor, slightly yeasty with a mild spicy kick at the end. Refreshing but a bit dull.

33 cl bottle (5%) @ La Baguetteria Del Fico, BBE 12/2016. Aroma has ripe fruits and apricot. Also mild spicy tones. Flavour is yeasty with apricot and bun dough. Finishes with grapefruit and some harsh bitterness. Becomes quite citrusy at the middle of the glass. Messy.

From a bottle. Not too bad at all, lasting head with smooth finish, I donít normally like this style but this is quite a nice drop.

From a 750ml bottle on 23/2/2015. Pours a slightly cloudy light golden with a big bright white head. Has a light but sharp aroma of citrus and yeast. The flavour features bready malt, sweet and sour citrus (lemon, orange), honey and herbal flavours. The bitterness is a touch tart and dry, making it very refreshing overall. Has an almost creamy palate and average carbonation. There is a real subtlety to this that I wasnít really expecting. Itís like a creamy pale ale crossed with a saison built to smash over a session. Quite pleasant indeed.

Bottle from Whole Foods Piccadilly. I concur with everything EdKing said in his review, except I didnít get the funk or barley husk. Itís an excellent pale ale though. Yeast and orange citrus fruits on the aroma. Sherberty hops in a firmish pale malt palate. Good bitterness on the finish balanced by an orange sweetness. Taut, dry and austere. I mean I love it. Itís like the homebrew I wish I could brew. My kind of pale ale, yeast character, citrus fruits, and dry austerity. Wonderful. A definite rebuy.

Bottle from Wholefoods Piccadilly. Pours bright cloudy amber, medium white head. Nose is apricot, light sourness and very light tart, barley grain malt husk, slight funk. Taste is orange sherbet, orange peel, lager yeast or at least a dry clean and crisp yeast texture, wheat and barley husk, very slight tart and sourness. Dry mouth texture
