My Bottom Line:
Citrusy, floral hoppiness joins pale cereals and minutious fruit esters in this quenching and crafty session Saison.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sumptuous head of foam tops the cloudy blond.
-After having a few on tap and in the bottle, I get the impression that Del Borgo beers are more cohesive on draught.
-Carbonation is relaxed; at this strength, this makes the beer ridiculously drinkable.
-The finishing hop bitterness is herbal and wooden as well.
-The body is very well rounded for this gravity.

On tap at Bir&Fud, Roma.

Aperitivino?!? Sempre bene, sempre a posto... però emozioni generaliste. Ma ci sta, perchè no! Pulita e beverina!!

02-MAY-2013, bottle @appartment in Rome, from Eataly. Hazy, pale yellow with lasting white head. Aroma is yeast, fruit, banana, peach, toast. Taste the same much more spicy. Overcarbonated, medium body. Quite tasty. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap @ Bir & Fud. Hazy golden with a little white head. fresh herbal notes, little spicy as sweet malty. Quite sweet and boring, with again some herbal and fruity notes toward a very little bitter end.

Draught at Bir & Fud, Roma. September 08. Pours golden with a small white head. Spicy aroma with citrus and subtle herbal notes. The flavour is citrus, spice and herbs. Low carbonation with a light and bitter mouthfeel. Not bad.

On tap at Bir&Fud, Roma. Cloudy, pale golden with a small frothy head. Good fruity aroma with restrained spiciness. Coriander appears stronger in the mouth, though. A bit watery. A good enough wit.

It’s light golden with notes of fruit, apple, citrus and herbs. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of citrus, apple, malt and a touch of herbs. It’s very easy to forget...

Bottle 75cl @ chris_o’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2008.
Unclear hazy medium yellow color with a large, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, light to moderate hoppy, citrus, moderate yeasty, soap. Flavor is moderate sweet, light acidic and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, and a dry finish. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. (020808)

Bottle, 2008 Pre-GBBF Chris_o Shindig. Ridiculously lively pour. Much more off-white foam than beer. The beer that eventually does settle out of the foam is pale straw. Salty ocean aroma, fresh cut grass. Soft wheaty bitterness, chalky mineral flavor and a little pepper. A refreshing, solid beer. (Also interesting is that at this point in my notes, an unfamiliar hand has scrawled: "Shane Mc Bogan. I <heart> Bogans." Who could it be?)
