Ungstrup (11378), Frederiksberg, Denmark Sep 9, 2007 Bottled. A hazy dark amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet yet with an acidic edge and notes of caramel, fruit, spices and vegetables. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, brown sugar, spices, fruit, and some berries, leading to a dry end - the alcohol dries out the tongue. omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Jun 3, 2006 Updated: Jun 5, 2006[Bottled at Københavnske Øldage] Cloudy dark amber. Aroma of viola and sweet raspberries. Too sweet with near full body. Dominated by candy, caramel and band-aid. More honey melon than bitterness in the finish. Papsoe (10429), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 6, 2006 (Bottle 75 cl) Pours a slightly hazy reddish amber with a gigantic, off-white head with excellent retention. Lightly tart nose with some caramel. Medium-bodied, very malty and fruity with accents of caramel and a rather rustic, artisanal touch - very much like some of the newer Danish microbrews. The alcohol is very well hidden, but the acidity really picks up in the finish. 050706 yespr (6889), Copenhagen O, Denmark May 12, 2008 75 cL bottle.
