I enjoyed this beer, but it is awfully expensive in the states and hard to justify. Very smooth and refreshing. Grainy.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle; many thanks to Uncle Kenny - madmitch76. Pours copper-bronze with minimum head. Aroma is Apple; burnt caramalisation; brown sugar. hey, straw, almost iodine-like metallic component, some barely wine characteristics and spruce.
Taste is woody; barely; earthy; bubblegum; alcohol; some burning alcohol; cooked vegetables and cough drops. Some coriander and clove from the yeast as well as bubblegum notes.
I prefer their RIS over this. The malts are also very sweet and it’s not really to my taste.

Aroma of biscuity malt, fruits, citrus, yeast, a little spiciness, some hops. Flavour is moderate sweet with a light to moderate bittersweet finish. An okay Saison, though it could have done with some tartness.
