Bottle: Served in a Duvel glass: Medium sized white foamy head on top of an almost clear dRker yellow golden beer. Aromasof melon, apple pie, dust, some grapefruit, some carbo gass and speculaas. Weird! Flavours of apple pie, porridge, grains, malts, bitters, light spices, some apple beignet, pfff heavy, donít like the taste that much... Aftertaste is bitter, apple pie, malts... Mehh... Low carbo, creamy silky mouthfeel, medium to lightly fuller bodied and a creamy texture... I am sorry, but couldnít finish a whole glass.

BB 07 2015. Poured a cloudy/murky brownish gold colour with a one- to two-finger white foamy head that retained well and laced well. Carbonation medium to high with lots of large bubbles forming trails. Lots of yeast particles settle out. Aroma of sweet malt and citrus/lemon with yeast as it warms. Taste creamy and initially sweet malt followed by nice mild pepper/spice. Light body. Finish slightly spicy and quite sweet. Quite nice.

Hazy light amber, nice rich bubbly head. Has a fresh yeast, lightly spicy aroma. Lots if big fresh malt, delicate spice and lots of yeasty character, like feet.

From a 750ml bottle on 16/3/2014 (shared with Butz). Pours a cloudy light golden with a big white foamy head. The aroma features some bready malt and a touch of fruit. The flavour features more bready malt, some light citrus, tropical and stone fruit, and some mild spice. The palate is quite creamy and the carbonation is reasonably lively. Iíve enjoyed other beers from this brewer more, but this is still pretty good stuff.

750 ml. bottle. Pours an amber peachy colour, with a standard head that doesnít hold for too long and leaves some lace. Smell of fruits, citrus, honey and herbs. Medium body, sticky and creamy palate. Taste of honey, fruits, sweet.

From a 750ml bottle purchased BWS. Cloudy amber/gold pour with large dense white head showing good retention and lace. I get straw, lemon and orange citrus, caramel, cheesy yeasts and peppery spices on the nose. Flavours are dry bittersweet fruity malts up front with decent spicy hops and yeasts coming through. Finishes dry and lightly bitter. Medium body and lively mouthfeel. Enjoyable.

Bottle 750 ml at home, into a tulip glass. ABV 5.8% Deep orange copper colour on the body, with two fingers of slighty off-white head on top, quite thick, with very good retention especially after it collapsed to half its size. Light lacing left behind. The body is clear with some very tiny and barely visible bits flaoting around. Aroma of light malts, some sugar, nice floral and fruity notes too, with some apple, pear. Slighty sweet taste, lots of floral notes, some yeast. There is something I canít put my finger on, maybe the spelt? Anyhow, the end result is very good. Medium body, soft carbonation. Overall: Nice beer, refreshing, easy drinker.
