Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly lasting. Body is hazy dark yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly to moderately hoppy (flowers), with notes of gum, kiwi, green apple. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Pleasant nose...fruity and floral. A little simple and sweet in the mouth, but overall enjoyable.

Bottle with Bolton & Allan. One finger foam. Golden clear. Bitter almonds dominate. A bite unpleasant. Tiggers my migraine. Dry finish. Plenty of complexity but not my style

Bottle at home - May ’12. Slightly clouded pale orange colour with a good inch of fluffy white head. Floral hop aroma, yeast, spice and a little citrus fruit. Grassy hop bitterness, straw, caramel sweetness, light malt. Light to medium body and in carbonation. This beer didn’t scream out ’saison’ to me ! Drinkable but also forgetable!
