Amber coloured beer with medium carbonation and a small white head. Milksour fruity hints with some slight hoppy notes. Full refreshing palate. Finish is smouth bitter hinted, some herbyness (spelt). nicely balanced.

375mL capped bottle poured into a Melbourne Bros glass. I pop the cap, pour the beer, and signature Cantillon fills my nostrils. Despite 10% Cantillon its mostly wild and sour barnyard on the nose. I can smell if for a long time. Color is slicked golden with a medium-thick head. Flavor however is a tease. There is Cantillon but its overwhelmed by the Saison. This makes it come off as a buttery lambic, just not as wild or sour. So, basically I wish there was more Cantilllon and less everything. Its almost like honey and lambic mixed. Medium heft with a sticky feel. Its almost like a tease-jerk, why play with me like that beer.

Nose of some basement, light funk, straw, dust, light herbal notes, a touch of lemon. Interesting. Pours hazy light golden, whispy head and lace. Flavors of lemon, dust, light herbal notes, lightly funky. Clean tartness - moderate but nice. Easy drinking and very flavorful. Good stuff.

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow color with nice head. Smells of lemon, orange and citrus. Very easy drinking, very yeasty. Absolutely delicious.

Reviewed from notes. Pours with an apricot body that is a bit hazy. Pretty nice white head that draws down to leave a little bit of lacing. Nose brings some light peach notes along with honey, grass, and a little bit of earth. The taste is ever so mildly sweet and fruity, but gives way to some drier, earthy elements and just a tad of funky leather. Mouthfeel is dry and a bit light. Fairly unique, and drinks pretty well overall. Serving type: on-tap Reviewed on: 10-15-2010

Thanks to Todd for sharing. Aroma is gueze like. FLoral notes, light acidity and muted dusty funk. Decent

This is not a Saison. Its at least its a Sour Ale and you could probably argue its closer to a lambic. Really cool cap on this....it is one of those ’sterile caps’. Its weird to open a bottle and get a cork pop but you get it with these caps. Pours a nice orange body, thing white head. First smell is 100% cantillon gueuze. I’ve had a few beers where they blend some lambic and they usually fall short . This is good. Its sweeter and fruiter than a gueuze but not cloying . Its not nearly as dry and very drinkable. It kind of reminds me of the Lindemans Cuvee Renee Gueuze. I would probably rather have a Cantillon gueuze but this is an interesting beer thats a lot fuller/rounded than a balls to the wall gueuze. One of best Italian beers I’ve had.

Bottle shared by footbalm. Pours a clear yellow hue with a small white head. The aroma is mostly like a sour golden ale. The flavor is unexpectedly mellow, mostly sweet dry earthy champagne, almost no sourness. Unusual. Not my thing.
