Bottle. Amber beer with a craem colored head. Tart/sour aroma with light spice. Sour, light acetic flavor with nice dark fruit and green apple. Medium bodied. Sour, light berry flavor lingers with nice fruitiness and light malt.

Bottle, mild gusher. Full foamy head, pale golden, cloudy. Pleasant mild aroma of chardonnay, a little grassy, touch of funk. Light bodied, mildly sweet, medium sourness with a drying easy finish. Exceptionally refreshing. Lingering aftertaste hints at a floral hop but very mildly so.

Mondial de la Bière 2011, Strasbourg - cloudy orange beer; notes of barnyards, cheese and dust; medium to full malt backbone; slightly acidic; dusty aftertaste with notes of bretts, fruits; long lasting

12.7 oz bottle. Golden orange pour with white head. Aroma of hat, belgian esters, mild funk. Some barnyard and green apple. Flavor is tart, hints at bracing sourness but surrounded by fruity belgian saison esters. White pepper, tangerine, dust and hay. Very earthy and enjoyable. Nice, spritzy carbonation with nice mouthfeel. Very enjoyable. Cool, different beer.

A word of warning on this one, mine was a gusher. There is a wonderful tart aroma, with underlying notes of funk and horse blanket. There is a touch of dry saison spice that is there in the aroma weaving through the funk. It pours a hazy straw, with a giant white craggy head. The saison restrains some of the more over the top sourness that Cantillon can bring to the table. Nice tart flavor, with a touch of sour apples in the finish. Clean on the palate, and a very enjoyable beer. Special thanks to Cavalier and Rozi’s for having this available.

Bottle. Poured a hazy amber color with a large frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate fruit citrus and sour yeast aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sour yeast citrus flavor with a medium sour finish of moderate duration. My expectation where met.

A hazy, yellow colour and a thin head with an aroma somewhere between a barn and old tennis shoes. The flavour comes across with an interesting sour note, and surprisingly tasty considering the aroma

Bottle. Hazy amber with a short, bubbly white head. Aroma is straw, funky yeast, flowers, tart fruit notes, leather, grass, earthy notes and hints of sweat. Taste is bigger sour fruit notes, leather, earthiness, soft grains, light straw notes, flowers, funky yeast and sweet malt notes in the background. Body is light with a strong, effervescent carbonation. Pleasant dryness throughout as well. Finishes with more sour fruit, grains, funky yeast, wet leather, earthiness, dried fruit, flowers, light grass and soft malt notes. Didn’t expect this to work as well as it does. Nice!

Pours hazy, effervescent orange gold into a tulip. Significant off-white head slowly recedes leaving craters and spiders. Sweet lemony and sour grapefruity citrus aromas. Dry with tart lemon and sweet meringue upfront turining to mild, tart grapefruit and marshmallow finish. Nice blend of saison and lambic.

375ml bottle. Pours a cloudy, light amber color, with a big white head. Aroma is funky, a little sour. Medium on the palate with fine carbonation. Flavor is sour, yeasty, with a tart, dry finish. More sour than saison for me.
