4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle opens with a small gush and pours hazy pale yellow with a couple fingers of foamy head. Nose is lemon, straw, funky pine, citrus, dank wood. Taste is tart orange, peach, lemon, funky barrel, citrus, farm, yeast, straw, hay. Finish is sharp crisp lemon lime funk and tart earthy hay. Really nice.

4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Murky golden bubbly color with a good head, and tart aroma. Light fizzy sour taste, but not too sour and without a bitter finish.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
I like this quite a bit. The cantillon lambic is the major element with lots of dusty lemony yogurt and funk. Sharp acid with a rich spicy saison backbone with some peppery notes and good creamy mouthfeel.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
375mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden with a huge lingering white foamy head. Aroma brings out loads of yeast, farmhouse notes, and a little funk from the lambic. Flavour brings out tart dry fruits, Belgian yeast, and considerable funk that leaves a lingering dry tart finish. Extremely complex, yeasty and dry. The lambic addition is very well-done, without stealing the show. Lively carbonation, without being detracting from drinkability.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
My Bottom Line:
Oranges, pepper, cloves and lemon pulp ride fiery bubbles in this dry, compelling Sour Ale.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam surrounds the cloudy pale amber.
-This bottle gushed a bit... which isn’t surprising considering the high carbonation.
-This is gentler than your average Cantillon, for example.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Un liquide qui fonctionne mais qui échoue à me déculotter de sa perfection. Une saison peu atténuer avec une touche lambiquée adéquate.

A: Orangish/Golden Straw Hue, Passes Some Light, White Head Ring, Some Lacing
S: Apricots, Funky, Hay
T: Hay, Yeast, Mild Oranges, Mild White Pepper
M: Decent Carbonation, Medium Bodied, Mildly Bitter
Overall, a very interesting beer as it has the nose of a Gueuze but the taste of a mildly bretted saison. Delicious if you like both those styles.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
11 oct 2013, bottle. Yellow. Nose is light sour up front and earthy saison finish. Thin body and moderately fizzy. Smarties candy, faintly sour, light lambic tastes. Fun.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Stamped 042014, I’m assuming best before April of 2014.
Appearance: The body is super hazy, opaque amber coming off milky. the head is short and short lived, settling into a thin sparse coating and a creamy but bubbly coating.
Aroma: On the first smell the aroma is leathery with lots of barn presence and tart lemon with hints of cherry in upon swirling.
Taste: The beer tastes very bland, nothing to note except straw until a mild leather and tart lemon hits very mildly by the finish. What a let down.
Palate: Medium bodied, a bit lacking in carbonation though.
Overall: This is a let down. Nothing jumps at me and the blend doesn’t taste that great. I wouldn’t buy again.
