Bottle. Really fruity and spicy beer in wich the yeast plays the main character. Quite interesting.

Assaggio (11 cl) a "Birre in piazza 2014": classica saison, si presenta leggermente torbida. Non entusiasma in nessuno dei suoi aspetti. Aroma discreto, abbastanza bilanciata.

Troebel, donker goud, geelwitte kraag. Combinatie van een zuurtje, zoetje, gist en wat boerderij. Doet me denken aan lemon curd. Ook licht kruidig. Wel aardig, maar wel blij dat het van 14 voor 3 euro was.

750 ml bottle from BG Birra, served in a tulip glass. Pale sunrise orange, quite clear, with an average, creamy bright white head, which dissipated fairly quickly leaving a nice and thick ring of foam. Spicy and fruity aroma, notes of citrus, peppery yeast, mild spices (star anise and cinnamon), sweet biscuity malts and fruit esters. Overall the nose is almost tripel like, without alchool or darker fruits. Quite sweet and sirupy in the mouth, slightly astringent, while remaining fruity and almost citric. Not as spicy as the aroma indicated. Malty and slightly warming aftertaste. Soft carbonation, medium body, slightly oily texture. I would have prefered more dryness, less sugary sweetness and a bit more of intensity all around. Not bad anyway.

Orange nose. Cloudy amber, thin head. Whole orange and lemon flavor. Not really distinctive and it’s pricey. It tastes good though.

Bottle shared at the WWGT2D? Charlottesville tasting, 4/5/14. Pours a hazy amber color with a large fizzy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of honey, nuts, grain, green notes, citrus. The taste is lime jello, candied citrus, spice. Thin bodied, slight lingering spice. Reminds me of Starr Hill Lucy, which is not a good thing. Weird beer.

Bottle @ The WWGT2D? Tasting. The pour’s gold with a small head. The nose is smokey herbs. Lemon-brushed grass and ribbon candy. The taste is pretty clean. Mild grain, a bit of anise and fennel. Lemon and white grapes. Medium body, soft carbonation. Overall, solid.
