Unclear golden, aroma of weissbier, slightly hoppy in taste. A decent weissbier made with spelt.

Bottle from Rakuten. I thought this was a weizen but it turns out it is a Belgian Pale Ale brewed with Einkorn Wheat. It was a bit of an odd beer, it poured a nice golden copper with a thin quickly dissipating head. The aroma was candy like with citrus notes. The flavor was sweet and tasted a bit like oranges. Some people thought it was sour, some thought it had sorachi ace & someone else thought it was made using Brett... I think it was probably just the odd wheat used in the brewing coming through, quite interesting & unique.

Tap @ Bir&Fud. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. The aroma is fruit and yeast with some caramel. The flavour is nice and mildly sweet, with the same notes as the aroma.

Bottle from Ashburn wine market. Pours peach with a small white head. HD a bit of a Heineken skunk nose at first but that faded into a slight fruitiness. I Get some coriander on the tongue. The finish has some bite to it. Solid.

Bottle thanks to Ansjelaah. Hazy orange color, small white head. Smell malts, sweetness and somehow some smoke. Taste malts, sweetness, slightly herbs and spices. Decent taste, ok aroma. Low to medium body and carbonation.

Gedronken met benzai, joes en dutchdrebus, gekocht in haps, oranje en helder van kleur, geen schuimkraag, ruikt naar caramel, beetje kruidig, smaakt naar alc. Beetje kruidig en zoet

Yeasty perfume aroma, light grain, nuts. Light med body, yeasty perfume character again, not altogether refreshing, lightly cloying

Whole Foods, Bowery 37.5cl ($5): Pours an ever so slightly golden with a white head. Aroma is fruity, herbal, and even a bit metallic. Taste is herbal tea like, but a lot sweeter, with a hefty malt backbone. Some lingering pretentious candy taste. Reminds me a bit of Turkish delight. Not bad.

humlelala (987) - DENMARK - DEC 25, 2012
(Present; BBD: June 2013) Pours a cloudy amber with medium, white head and floaties. Decent retention and lace. Aroma is yeasty with notes of dust, green fruit and spice. Also malty hints of cereal. Medium body, medium carbonation, oily texture and a slightly acidic finish. Taste is fruity, sweet and acidic with not much bitterness. Special but not unpleasant. Girlfriend says: "It’s a bit metallic at first but the fruityness covers it nicely."
