Draft at Redlight. Pours a cloudy yellow with a fluffy head. Tart citrus aroma, almost sour like. Taste is smoother malt with a citrus kick and a thicker body. Interesting beer.

Poured a hazy yellow color with a large white head. The aroma was spicy with notes of lemon. Lemon and spice also make up the flavor. The mouthfeel was lively with a light body.

The aroma is floral, malty, citrusy, and spicy. The appearance is orange gold with a huge head! The flavor is like the aroma with a touch of sourness. The palate is a little thin but smooth. Overall I like it but its unusual.

Kind of a malty aroma. This is interesting. It has a little malt flavor but also something that makes it seems like it’s energetic. Smooth, easy drinking.

afterglow (1047) - Florida, USA - DEC 28, 2008
Bottle courtesy of kiefdog. Pours a slightly hazy golden with a one finger white head that fades. Aroma is floral and herbal with an almost minty note in the middle with a touch of pilsner malt in the finish. Taste is the same as aroma with a touch of spicy yeast. Medium silky mouthfeel with a mild amount of bitterness. Very interesting and good

I had this a week ago, and it was just so damn interesting I have to rate it. That being said it is not that it was the most wonderful beer I have ever had, just one of the more interesting. The bottle opened with a champagne pop and almost a gush, the bartender gave me the cap just to show me how this brewery seems to know this thing is out of control, I think this is the most heavy duty beer cap I have ever seen. This thing pours like champagne too, the enormous head does stick around though leaving lace. The beer is slightly hazy blonde. The champagne theme continues with the aroma, very dry but floral at the same time... at times almost daisy like. The taste was once again dry, most of the bitterness seems to be herbal and coming from the flowers, which is very different and in some ways refreshing. I quite enjoy this.

kiefdog (1826) - Tampa, Florida, USA - DEC 17, 2008
75cl bottle from Willow Bend Liquors (Tampa, FL). Pours a clear yellow color with thin off-white head. Little retention and lacing. Aroma is spicy and floral with sweet and hoppy notes, nuts, mint, spearmint, pine. Flavor is slightly sweet and dry like a saison, but with notes of soft mint, basil, honey and spice. Generally light to medium body with a spicy finish. Watch when opening--this bottle was a gusher.

Pours a cloudy golden-orange color with a huge foamy off-white head. Aroma consists of citrus peel, grapefruit and flowers. There is a nice malty balance to the citrus peel/ fruit presence with a hoppy floral finish.
