Thanks to Josh for this one. Pours a lightly hazy golden with a smaller bubbly white head. Aroma was floral, very grassy, bready and some caramel notes. Flavor of the same spice, floral, tea, very herbal, soapy, not very bitter and despite the odd spicing...it’s drinkable.

Bottle... Cloudy yellow ale with a trillion micro-floaties and a small, fizzy, white head. Aroma-wise, I had a hard time pulling anything out of the glass, but picked up a sweet, biscuity note. Medium to full-bodied and creamy with gentle carbonation. Well-balanced. Biscuit and pale malt sweetness; faint bitterness. Crisp, pleasantly sweet finish. Very drinkable... a good thing as the bottle is a behemoth.

What the heck is going on in Italy these days? Poured a very hazy apricot color. The aroma reminds me of those lavender scented soaps your grand-mother kept, you know, the ones that if you actually ised, got you yelled at? The floral notes are the dominant force, with an odd grainy aroma, with some spice and citrus notes coming on. The flavor is very floral, with a bracing and crisp bitterness that works on some level. Odd, to say the least.

Having tried the Te’, I knew going in that this would be a strange brew, and it is. The pour yields a cloudy, glowing orange body with a good amount of floating particulate. A fizzy, off-white head is small but well retained, leaving minimal spotting behind on the glass. The nose shows a weird, bittersweet, biscuity background, with a mildly funky, peppery citrus overtone. Smells very fresh and light. The flavor follows, with lightly toasted caramel and biscuit splashed with a dash of fresh squeezed lemon and mild herbs. Medium to light bodied, this one finishes rather dry and slightly tart, enhancing drinkability and begging the next sip. This is an interesting brew, though considerably overpriced.

Bottle. Light yellow in color with a tiny head. Aroma is tea, sweet wort and honey. Body is on the thin side, like an iced tea. In fact, this stuff is really tea like. Very interesting. Dry.

Comments: Draught at Hop, Milano. Less bitter than expected. A really soft and pale, sweetish Belgian-style ale.
