COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A top fermented ale brewed with gentian, a bitter flowering plant.

Interessant! 11/10/9/9

Big slightly fizzy mediumlasting head. Aroma is light malts, weeds, hay, grain, caramel, bark, herbs. Taste is slightly sweet grainy, light malts, hay, weeds, caramel, grass, herbs, bark, wet grain. Medium bitterness. Fair enough, not really my kind of beer.

A beautiful 0.75l bottle that makes strange schulping sounds when pouring. The beer itself is a light cloudy golden orange one and it has a medium sized just off-white top. Smells green and sorta fruity. Green zest, mild sweet grass, reed, a bit of caramel and hints of flowers. Not bad. It has a mild oily mouthfeel with a average kinda boring carbonation level that reminds me of sparkling water. Again, light green and floral in the taste. Yeast, some whet, green sweet apples and it has very little bitterness this. Gets a bit boring after the first glass to be honest. Decent but I won’t be purchasing this again. 06.06 2013

750ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Langnes. Nice bottle design. The pour reveals a loose, white head and a yellow-orange coloured body with a cloud lag to it. Herbal hops to the nose added by tropical fruits. Perfumed taste of tropical fruit joined by apricot and almond. Smooth, bittersweet fruity ending, half-dry. Fine bodied. Tasty summer drink (tasting session, Tromsø 03.06.2013).

750ml bottle. Courtesy of Rune at XXIX Rating Session 03.06.13. Thanks! Golden, slightly cloudy body with big creamy head and fair lacing. A sweet scent of flowers spreads in the room as soon as the bottle is opened, a closer examination reveals notes of straw, parsley, grass, celery and herbs. The taste is also grassy and flowery, with hints of honey, buckthorn and vanilla. A very nice and exclusive bottle with a cool green label. A different and pleasant experience!

Hazy amber beer, small white head. Floral notes and sherbet combine to give a somewhat kids sweet nose! Softish palate, semi dry. Mild carbonation. Sweet floral notes, dominate. Segues seamlessly in to sweet and mildly sherbet orange and peach. Finishes dry with the floral notes turning a little bitter. Pretty decent and unique beer which I guzzled with gusto.

(75 cl bottle) Orange colour, hazy, medium white head. Smells yeasty and spicy. Aroma is herbal and fruity with a touch of cough syrup. Taste is medium sweet and lightly bitter. Medium body, soft carbonation, a bit sticky. Interesting due to the gentian, but not one I would especially go looking for.
