Pours golden
Aroma / taste, floral and herbal. Love the idea of the unique use of this flower gentian that really brought something new to a beer.
Beer was really smooth to sip, leaving a fresh floral/herbal feel almost of mint.

Pours gold with a small head.
Nose shows floral, herbal and soft fruity notes (apples, pears). Underneath is very faint honey and bready malt.
Very floral flavours too, with what is presumably the gentian taking centre stage. Underneath is bready malt, honey and spicy hops.
Carbonation is nicely high.

Bottled. Pours hazy orangy amber with a small off- white head. Fruity nose with caramel and notes of yeast. Sweet flavor with citrus, peachy notes and caramel notes. Medium bodied, watery to creamy texture and soft carbonation. Ends up dr with yeasty notes.

Growler. Gold with a modest white head that’s soon gone. Aroma of oranges, peaches, bitter herbs, licorice. Sweet with stone fruit, oranges, gentle herbal bitterness, pepper, licorice. A somewhat exotic golden ale that’s a bit oversweet for me.

19-May-12 - Slowbeer on tap - Ginseng-ginger earthy citrus aroma. Cloudy deep amber colour, nice head and fluffy lacing. Starts with a lemonade flavour when cool, but opens to a lovely complex herbal sweet earthy apricot bitter finish and subtle ginseng like herbal aftertaste. Impressed with the crafting of this beer, along with the complexity of flavours.

En frisk, blommig och balaserad ale. Smak av honung, örter, trä. En trevlig bekantskap.

Bottle. Pours a hazy gold with a large white head. Aroma is slightly fruity with hints of straw, herbal hops and a hint of spices. Slightly sweet flavor with notes of caramel, straw, light spices and a bitterness similar, but not the same as, hops. Slightly bitter finish.

Bottle, bought @ Mundus, city vest, Aarhus.
Pours hazy pale yellow-amber with a firm, staying, creamy, white head. Aroma is very floral, malty sweet, doughy, hay, a bit of mint and peach. Thistle as well. Highish carbonation, fine dryish and light mouthfeel. Flavour is simple, doughy malts sweetness, some hay-like earthy bitterness and an underlying, elegant herbiness with bog myrtle, mint, oregano notes. Fine lingering dryness with some bitterness.

Ormai non ho piu’ parole per desrivere le birre di Di Vincenzo.... Anche questa ottima da morire, ogni volta che ne apro una nuova rimango sempre stupito ed estasiato! I voti parlano da soli, per sapere quanto e’ buona vi consiglio di assaggiarla!

12oz bottle from Chan’s Wine World in Destin Florida. Pours a pretty golden , clear yellow with a creamy white head. Nose is yeasty and citrusy with a slightly musty nose. Taste is slightly sour, creamy and tart with a hop bitterness that shows through just enough. Wow. Really beautiful beer.

UPDATED: MAR 7, 2012 Hazy golden yellow body. Moderate sized white head. Poor retention and no lacing. Citric notes, herbal/tea character, mild earthiness. Present in both the nose and the flavor. Medium-light bodied. Clean, dry finish. [TAP@Alla Spina]
