Draft at Churchkey’s 5th anniversary, courtesy of staff, thank you! Clear dark maroon color, fluffy beige head. Roasty coffee grounds aroma, light pine. Taste is very malty. Taste is OK, but it doesn’t taste anything like any black IPA I’ve ever had before. Off style.

Mostly just an imperial IPA. some citrus and pine. Finishes bitter. Not much roast at all. Tap at Churchkey.

At the apparence red rubin with thin foam. Its aroma is hoppy with not so more fruits. Drinking it it is like an IPA but less bitter even if bitter taste and notes of fruits characterize its really nice body.

Draft @ ML Fontainas, Italian Fest Sept ’14.

Thanks! Sampled draft @ Italian Beer Week-end / Zwanze 2014 CML. Dark amber, off-white bubbles head. Hoppy, creamy nose, fruity faint roast. Creamy caramel, brown sugar, faint roast, herbal, grapefruit, herbal hop taste, mocha. Creamy body. Pretty nice beer.

Draught Very fine & dense, good pale cream head over ruby-brown beer. Dry hopbales, ureum, hessian sacks, immortelles. Roasted, meaty, with coloured malts and subdued, but present hops. Finish is bonedry. Woody, straw. Quite slick, medium bodied, well-carbonated feel. Very dry-authentic, but it misses a bit of character. A bit, mind.

light brown color. Not enough roast in the body and comes across much more like a hoppy brown ale, with tropical fruit notes. Very similar to Baird Angry boy brown ale. Not a black IPA at all. Not bad, if trying for brown ale.
