Bottle. Brown pour with an off white head. Lots of pine, roast, notes of chocolate, fruity sweetness, grapefruit, and moderate bitterness. My bottle says 5.8% abv. Good.

Great combo of hoppy taste and malty sweetness. Overall a full bitter (but not overdone) taste. Very dark red, solid lasting head. Long aftertaste, only a little astringent. Grass, cherry.

330ml bottle from The Wine Emporium 231213. Easy drinking this one, gives down well and doesn’t strip your palate. Nice and hoppy.

Keg@against the grain
Deep ruby amber with dense foamy beige head. Berry fruits and yoghurt on the nose, sherbet, sharp, perhaps kiwi hops, pithy dry finish. Decent but not really a BIPA.

TimE (4886) - Tokyo, JAPAN - SEP 14, 2014
light brown color. Not enough roast in the body and comes across much more like a hoppy brown ale, with tropical fruit notes. Very similar to Baird Angry boy brown ale. Not a black IPA at all. Not bad, if trying for brown ale.

Fra fat på DØE festivalen: en mørk ipa 5,8%. Velsmakende med mye aroma og en fruktig bitterhet.

Draft at Bir+Fud, Rome. Dark, gray brown, yellow tan foam. Sweet, tart, a bit cola. Ok.

6% draft glass at Rokko Diner. A very dark brown with a bit of a reddish quality to it with a beige head & a hoppy citrus & mild funk aroma. The taste is medium-full bodied, citrus hoppy then rich dark malts with a touch of chocolate. Quite nice

Bottle in Italy. 5.8 % abv. Aroma is full of floral hops, resin, caramel and citrus. Flavor is bitter, fruity, slightly spicy and with a load of hops. Thick body, heavy carbonation. Impressive brew.
