COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
InBraNata La Sorella is a golden ale with fragrances of fresh-cut flowers and underlying spices. Intriguing but not overly complex, with an effortless equilibrium between mellowed sugarly malt and the tangy bite of hops. Bottle Conditioned.

Ingredients: water, barley malt, unmalted wheat (Senatore Capelli durum), sugar, hops, yeast.

GoufCustom (1439) - HONG KONG - APR 16, 2016

330 ml bottle bought at Castello Del Vino in Admirality.

Cloudy hazy pale straw golden colour with a ring of dirt- like yeast sediments; Near zero head and residual soapy white foam which fades in 10 seconds. Good sticky lacing with near zero carbonation; Fragrant and sweet aroma of Ale malt, with orange, grapefruit, strong floral, honey, sugar, light spices, yeast, lemon and light grassl; Medium to strong sweet taste of Ale malt, with strong oranges, grapefruits, perfumes, floral, molasses, dry biscuits, strong yeast, lemon, moderate bitter hops and light grass; Close to medium body. Dry and very slick palate; Mouth feel is fair Ale maltyness in a thick, slightly soapy background. Strong orange and grapefruit hoppiness permeate with strong floral and moderate sweetness. Yeasty and quite biscuit with strong lemon to round. Pretty good!... Hoppiness is orange, grapefruit, strong floral, honey, light spices lemon and light grass in nose in taste; Bitterness is quite strong for a lasting, close to high astringent sweet-bitter finish; Dry after taste. Floral, sweet and bitter to mouth.

Comments: This one is altogether a different beast from the regular InBraNata, with strong orangey-citrusy hops and nicely sweet maltyness. A bit on the soapy and yeasty side, but most of the Italian Blonde Ales are like that. Simple and very drinkable!

Bottle at worldbeertaste’s temporary leaving The Hague tasting. Poured a hazy light amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is grassy hop, citrus. The flavour is medium bitter watery light resin yeast hop palate. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. I can’t say I enjoyed it and I can’t say I despised it either. Sitting here on the fence.....
