Cloudy light amber color; medium sized compact head. The aroma is rather yeasty, some spices. Smooth mouthfeel, some malt flavor, light residual sweetness, with a mild yeasty/spicy character. Ordinary bitterness.
Rough.

Underrated saison... Not bitter.. Funky , what I look for from this style . Far from overwhelming , raw and true... Good funky beer.

Bottle at BeerDeLuxe. Complex aromas of dough, caramel, and grain. Taste is sweet, with sour notes, and average length. Palate is fizzy, with a medium body. Amber, with a massive head.

Bought in Radda de Chianta during summer. It pours a hazy golden with a heavy white head. The nose is very thick and sweet like a honey melon well over the top. Add to that a heavy yeasty aroma. Too much. The taste is likewise sweet like mature melon and peaches. I really miss some hoppyness and some bitterness to balance the sweetness. The mouthfeel is medium with an oily palate. The finish is bitter in a unpleasant harsh way.

UPDATED: JAN 22, 2013 bottle @ eataly bologna. Pours pale with a good head. good balance between bitterness and sweetness with orange and citrus hints. a very simple beer, "da bere senza tante pugnette".

Hazy orange color, small white head. Exotic fruity aroma, light alcohol. Medium-bodied. Fruity (orange, apple) flavor. Flattish mouthfeel. Some alcohol. Sweetish. Quite pleasant although not very complex beer.

330ml bottle. A decent sized white head of foam with a strong amber colour. Sweet in the mouth with a refreshing citrus flavour. Light and airy in the mouth and on the palate.

Unclear matt medium orange yellow colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, fruity, moderate yeasty, anis seed, belgium yeast. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120613]

Bottle at yespr. Hazy yellow coloured with a medium sized white head. Fruity aroma of citrus peel and spices with notes of caramel. Fruity flavour of caramel and spices with notes of licorice. Spicy finish.
