75cl bottle. Pours black with a fine, creamy beige head. Very light smell of roasted malts and caramel. Taste is roasted malts with a cola-like sweetness. Very easy to drink without being watery, light carbonation. Sweet aftertaste. Can’t feel the tobacco at all, absolutely not what I was expecting.

Pours dark, nice head that finally falls. Aroma is smokey and has a lot of roast. Also some caramel and something sweet. Taste has some carmel at first, smoke disappears and roast flavours remain. Not too frightening and a nice one as a simple dark brew. Goes well together with pizza.

0.75l bottle shared with The Tasting Crew. This is a deep dark coffee brown colored one with a medium sized light brown bubbly top. On the nose there is lots of old chocolate and some cocoa. Small traces of both chestnuts, cold coffee, cardboard, vinduspuss and lots of cigar smoke. Lots of strange things here! Not loving it but it’s not that bad either. Is this a smoked one? It tastes quite alright. Soft to flat on the carbonation and it has a gliding almost slick mouthfeel. I like the way this tastes. Milky old harden sun damaged chocolate with cold coffee, more earthy cigar smoky tones and a little bit of cardboard. Strange in many many ways, but also tasty. 23.10.2013

Bottle shared at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks Very dark brown with tan head. Vinous, cocoa liquor, roast and a little coffee in the nose, bitter, a little tobacco-ish taste. a little roast too. Smooth, full-bodied, a little syrupy finish with a little wood.
