Lievissima amaritudine. Corpo denso e cremoso. Un’esperienza estetica che ha del sublime!

Dark brown, aroma is earthy, choc...nice. Dry chocolate palate, earth, the tobacco shows as a balancing agent before it gets a bit thin.

Taster. Not normally a big Porter fan, however I enjoyed this one. Malt driven, with a hint of tobacco spice on the nose and the tongue. Needed a bigger body.

Tap @Luppolo 12, Roma 20.7.2013
Dark brown color, small steady brownish head, lace. Milky, toasted nose and some iron. Medium-bodied. At Luppolo they claimed this 8,5% beer - well it was too weak for that. Toasted, caramelly sweetish well not really sweetish but like licorice candy sweet and salty. Some spiceyness. A bit messy.

Tap at Sheffield Tap. Darkest brown. Tight, lasting, beige head. Aroma is light roast malt. As others have said there is a woodiness, too. Some smokiness. Taste is dry, dark fruit. Light, bitter finish. Had to rush this, mores the pity, but definitely one I’d like to try again.

On tap at the Sheffield Tap. Black mit a bugt head. Smells of cocoa, sweet, liquorice, malt. Tastes like a milk stout - sweetened malt. Easy drinking.
