4.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottled 750ml, from Johnnyís off-licence in Rome. Not the strongest aroma, but this is a smooth porter with layers to its flavour. My bottle poured with a fine head, but this beer is only gently effervescent. Iím a big porter fan, so this was right up my street. And I liked that it was reasonably light, as most of the dark beers I enjoy tend to be quite heavy.

Bottled 750ml. -Courtesy of heavy, shared with him and Marko. Black coloured, medium to big sized pale brown head, mild roasty nose with whiff of tobacco. Roasted malt, dark chocolate and slight acidic with light notes of tobacco. Rather bitter finish.

Thanks heavy! He found it in Vrutak and shared with me and ogivlado. Actually had it before Drei Von Dšnen... Anyway... Blackish body with a huge dark tan/grey/brown ead. Fresh herbal malty nose, light fruity notes, of apple, slightly sourish, slightly roasty. Light dry roasty taste, some chocolate, light bitterness too, herbal I guess. Balanced malty porter, though there was something about it I didnít like.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Keg @ BrewDog. Almost black colour, decent beige head. Tobacco cocoa & coffee aroma & flavour. Smooth but a bit of an insipid vegetable aftertaste. Unusual but not great.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
01-MAY-2013, draft @Bir & Fud.
Almost black with beautifull high cappuchino head. Really nice work by the barman. Roasted, burnt, chocolate aroma but weak. Taste is stronger and more flavorfull.
Almost flat with medium body.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours black with a large tan head.
Nose shwos roasted malt, soft funky notes, liquorice and soft cocoa.
Interesting flavour, thereís some distinct fruity acidity in a lambic way along with gentle roasted malt.
Could use mroe carbonation and a richer body.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Medium brown head. Nearly opaque black body goes hazy deep dark
red at edge. Roasty earthy chocolatey aroma with vanilla, smoke,
and chocolate pudding notes. Dry-acidic roasty herbal chocolatey
taste with vinegary earthy notes. Mid-to-thin body. Mild
mouthfeel. Dryish earthy herbal roasty aftertaste with smoky
vinegary burnt notes. Itís not bad, but really unusual, and I
donít much enjoy the sourness. (0.75l bottle, wine monopoly, web

Keg at Brewdog, Glasgow, Scotland. Quite a peculiar beer. Spicey aroma, spicey and milky taste with a peculiar finish supposedly representing tobacco. Interesting, well worth a try... A nice beer!
