Bouteille de 750 ml partagée avec MartinT, Rastacouere, Cathschlag et Beerbuzzmontreal. Arôme: Odeur de café avec une pointe de tabac. Apparence: La couleur est brunâtre-noire. Présence d’un très mince col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Léger goût de café et de tabac. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture légèrement huileuse. Faible effervescence en bouche. Présence de café torréfié en arrière goût. (Rating #1454)

Dark brown with a small tan head. Malty with tobacco notes. Malt, tobacco and hops. Medium body with a dry after taste.

Bottle at EBBC12. Coffee and treacle nose, body is smooth with liquorice, treacle and coffee notes and hints of smoke and tobacco (not tobacco smoke!).

Bottle.Pitch black colour with small head.Aroma of tobacco and rosted malt,good caramel flavor and taste of chocolate,and hops,good medium body and nice smooth finish.

Opaque dark brown beer. Softish palate. Tangy rich porter. Great flavour for it’s modest abv. The tobacco seems to add richness and body and are most noticeable in the aftertaste. Finishes soft and tangy. an intriguing porter.

Bottle from Le Langhe, York. Pours a very dark brown colour with a decent tan head that dies away fairly quickly. Aroma of roasty malt, tobacco, hazelnut chocolate and alcohol. Similar flavours and quite nutty with coffee and caramel to finish. Mild carbonation and CO2 prickle with an oily mouth-feel. Not bad.

Thanks to the friendly waitress at Open Baladin Roma who gave me a taster of this one. Clear, dark brown body, bright and dark surface. Dark malts and dark fruits to the nose. Rather complex flavour character starting with dark caramel and coffee and finish off with dusty hops and semi-roasted bitterness. Nice, indeed (Roma, 31.03.2012).

Bottle....It pours dark with a nice medium tan head..... The aroma is roasted malts, roasted coffee...The flavor is roasted malts, tobacco and coffee.... bitter roasted finish.....

Bottle, bought @ LIVA, Kolding. Pours almost black with a firm, creamy, beige head. Aroma has chocolate, light roasted, mild nutty. Soft carbonation, dryish and light creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has good chocolate, light smoke, roasted, light nutty and mild dry finish. Delicious.

Bottle. Black with medium beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee and a little tobacco. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, tobacco, liquorice, little sweet, little acid and a little chocolate.
